Back to the meal discussion. I bet JA gets escorted to a holding cell of some sorts in the courthouse, right? Her attorneys head off to lunch somewhere. It wasn't until they all returned after the lunch break that JA told KN she did not eat. And threw in the 'migraine' like Mare said, 'it's so much more dramatic' to tell KN she has a migraine as vs a headache. Gawd.



I am sitting here watching the Evening News and the weather just came on ..... can you imagine that JA will never ever need to know what the weather is EVER EVER again.



Also will TRU TV be covering the George Zimmerman trial?

I was thinking about that earlier and it wouldn't make any sense to take her back to the jail, but a holding cell would make sense. How far is the jail from the courthouse? Even if she's held at the courthouse, bring her something from the cafeteria- whatever the special is that day. I don't believe for a second that she isn't being fed. Did all of this come to light while being televised or is it something that somebody in the room heard (Beth Karas?)

I'll have to bow out of that one. I got sick of hearing about it, so I'll opt not to watch. At least with this case, the only thing I've heard is from the actual trial or what I've looked up. That one was EVERYWHERE.

If I remember right during CA there was a room right behind the area of the jury and that is where she would be for lunch. I want to say they focused on her lunch once.

Hello Everyone- I abandoned ship because listening to JA was excruciating earlier. I took my new pup out for a long walk and then went to work where I am not able to DIS..

Anyway- I watched JVM and Nancy Grace and sort of caught up on what else took place.. plus reading through the last 20 pages. I thought it was mentioned that she was on the witness stand all ready to go, her lawyer went over, whispered with her and then the extended break was called and suddenly she was at the defense table.. That would mean (IMHO) that this whole thing is a joke of an excuse in order to get a break from today's testimony.. For them to claim that she has not been given meals would be to concede that she wasn't during any other part of the trial, direct examination and the first witnesses etc.. So what gives? Did they not feed her all this time or is she just an idiot who forgot to mention that she hadn't been fed during cross examination???

On one of the shows, they had a body language expert that said shen she has been answering that she "doesn't know or doesn't remember" that she looks up to the creative side to formulate what happened and then the other side for recall, then says she doesn't remember and with that she gives a slight shoulder shrug which are all signs of deception... I think that all of the body language experts are agreeing that she is lying, I just hope the jury members are paying attention..

Lastly- I remember in the CA trial, we heard the Q&A part of jury selection, was the jury selection for this trial televised? If so other than that there are 7 women and 11 men, how are the overall jury members described? (from what I understand, 6 will be randomly dismissed as they go to deliberations.)

One of his female attorney's was also on CA's team, I can't remember her name tall lady with blonde hair.

I feel so bad for this child's parents.

I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon (basically right after they come back from the evening break), so I'm going to be counting on you guys to fill me in ... again. I'll watch as long as I can, though.

And I have to work which means I'll miss the end again. That seems to be when the exciting stuff happens. Until then, I'll be watching everything. Can't wait to get my kid off to school so I can watch uninterrupted.

So basically she was being treated the same way in court as she was in jail. She's been in jail since 2008, that's 5 years without lunch and it's just now bothering her? Granted, that's quite a long time between meals IF you're not used to it.
