We just returned from a truly wonderful Alaska cruise. We are frequent Disney Cruisers, but not international travelers, so I wanted to share a few tips for those that may be first timers in Vancouver:

- If at all possible, give yourself a day in between your incoming flight and the first day of your cruise. It not only lets you explore Vancouver or relax, but if your flight is delayed (like ours was in Minneapolis), we did not worry!
- If you take the sky train from the airport, the stops and doors close quick! If you have a lot of luggage, keep in mind there is a short 5 minute (or so) walk from the last and closest stop from the station to the Pan Pacific hotel.
- The view and location at the Pan Pacific was fantastic!
- If you don't want to travel far, there is a food court across the street or you can use an underground connector from the hotel.
- CPAP users-There is distilled water for sale at the Rexall in this food court. Bring your own bag to avoid paying for a bag or purchase a reusable Rexall bag...they were very handy for laundry on the cruise.
- My family loved the pancakes and bacon at Fatburger! Who knew a burger place had breakfast?!?
- Tim Horton's bagels/donuts were quick treats.
- McDonalds had international favorites including pizza bites that were tasty!
- Tap and Barrel is a quick walk and has Happy Hour with lots of options for the family.
