And that's what it is, a bologna sandwich, how hard is it to get a damn bologna sandwich to the court house in that hour and a half? Ten to one that judge is furious over this ********.

I can certainly hear alot of frustration in her voice. Actually quite a bit with Nurmi.

I bolded above why she'd get that appeal and Jodi isn't in prison, she's an inmate at the county jail, they get 3 meals a day. I think Nancy Gratesonmynerves did a show from there and showed what the meals are like.

You certainly may be correct, but I got the information from the Maricopa County site - http://www.mcso.org/About/Sheriff.aspx

Also impressive are the Sheriff’s get tough policies. For example, he banned smoking, coffee, movies, pornographic magazines, and unrestricted TV in all jails. He has the cheapest meals in the U.S. too. The average meal costs between 15 and 40 cents, and inmates are fed only twice daily, to cut the labor costs of meal delivery. He even stopped serving them salt and pepper to save tax payers $20,000 a year.

Still, if I were the judge, I'd make sure she got lunch "just because".

I agree. It's quite simple, and this isn't a new procedure. It's just weird that it happened today. The judge should be furious. Also, imagine you are a juror. This trial has been going on for a long time already, and you have no idea of anything other than what is being presented during testimony. The case ends, and you can finally watch tv and get some details not previously available. I'd be pissed that I spent extra time there because someone forgot the lunch.

I'd be (and AZ taxpayers should be too) po'd to no end if she got a new trial after being found guilty of 1st degree murder because someone along the chain failed to get her lunch to her or the jail said she's too late for dinner.

I have seen this Sheriff on TV many times, he is one tough man.
He did something recently I can't remember what is was, I will have to ask my husband.
$20,000.00 on S&P crazy!!!

I wonder if she is refusing the lunch? But when she got off the stand she looked just fine. But I am also a little peeved at the judge, she needs to correct Jodi on the stand and not attack Jaun.

Then we can deduce she's not getting her evening meal and maybe at times no breakfast and that's why they changed the start and ending times for court.

I confess, I didn't watch the Nancy Live From Maricopa County Special.

I can remember one time having a migraine in my life.
I felt so sick I couldn't even stand up. I just wanted to die.
I was sitting in a warm shower with the lights off trying to get relief and my husband wanted to take me to the hospital because he had never seen me like that before.
I have such sympathy for people who suffer these regularly.

So do I believe she had a true migraine??? NOPE it was a game to her.

I do think she should get lunch even though I also think she should get the DP. However, if this is normal for every inmate on trial...:confused3 then why is she special?

I think the real problem was her 180 from poor abused Jodi who Travis used, to Totally Consensual Jodi who LIKED the p pics sent to her and returned the favor.

She seemed to light up and enjoy talking about those texts. She liked all of it until she figured out Travis didn't love her the way she wanted. And then she had to kill him...

The defense had to stop the train wreck and get her out of there!

What was it that one of IS' or JVM's or NG's guest commentator said a while back … "JA could give an ASPRIN a headache" …. :rotfl:
Actually, it was a guest commentator on Nancy Grace who said that about NANCY. ::yes:: But yes, it holds true for Jodi as well. Every so often I wonder what would happen if Juan Martinez has a stroke while he's questioning her. Mistrial, I presume. Only half kidding here. She'd drive anyone's blood pressure off the charts.

Here we go again, getting confused by Jodi time! That Jodes! ;)

12:15 EST, 9:15 PST (is that what it's called??), and 10:15 AZ/Jodi time. :happytv: Or in simpler terms, 15 minutes earlier than it has been.

Everyone synchronize your watches!

:lmao:
I think it is 1015 "AZ time"...
Yes 15 min earlier than it has been..

Isn't he the man who makes male inmates wear pink? They also live outside because common luxuries aren't necessary when you break the law? Or is that in Texas?

Yes, just say 15 minutes earlier!! :lmao: I get so confused with all the time zones and trying to convert from eastern to PST to Central!! You wouldn't want me to miss the trial, would you???

That's him. He has tent cities. They complained about the heat, and he told them that the troops in Iraq had to live in tents with hotter temperatures than that. Told them if they didn't like it, don't come back. I only copied part of what was on the page. The link has even more stuff. He's pretty tough!

Back to the meal discussion. I bet JA gets escorted to a holding cell of some sorts in the courthouse, right? Her attorneys head off to lunch somewhere. It wasn't until they all returned after the lunch break that JA told KN she did not eat. And threw in the 'migraine' like Mare said, 'it's so much more dramatic' to tell KN she has a migraine as vs a headache. Gawd.

I am sitting here watching the Evening News and the weather just came on ..... can you imagine that JA will never ever need to know what the weather is EVER EVER again.

Also will TRU TV be covering the George Zimmerman trial?
