Just checked into the board for the first time this week, hoping to find some folks we can meet up with. My DH (Bill) and I (Cat) are cruising with our DS (6) and DD (3) for the second time on the Magic. Super excited to be just days away. We have second seating for dinner but are wait-listed for first. Are there any official group gatherings planned??

Hi Susie, I already added you. Thanks for an update. You should mention it on FB also, as a couple of people were wondering who needed to be added. My son is also 9. There are also quite a few girls around the same age. Unfortunately for him, it doesn't seem like too many boys.

My youngest is 9 as well, so there will be a couple 9-10 year old boys to hang out together.

Welcome!! I have a 6yo DS and 3yo DD too, how perfect! Hopefully they can hang together. We are meeting on secret deck 7 which I guess is in the back of the ship at 3pm on embarkation day with lime green Mickey paint chips from Home Depot to recognize each other. We have a great facebook group going too if you'd like to join with all the docs with the whole group listed and their activities, etc. Check out StarGazer's signature for the links. I'm not sure how to add you to the fb group but I'm sure someone around here knows!

Ok-last minute stress...
My husband is planning on wearing to a cotton dress shirt, tie and khakis (nice clean ones, no crazy pockets or anything) to dinner at Palo with me.
Will this be ok or will we be turned away?

That is seriously all he owns so I need to go buy fancy slacks if we need em.

I second that. We've only done Palo once before, but I think as long as the pants are not denim, they will be just fine.

We are doing Palo tea on Sunday, dinner on Monday and brunch on Thurs - how about other folks?

I think they put multiple families at one table, so if you link you sit together. I'm a cruising newbie though so perhaps the regulars can enlighten us. I'll email our TA and ask her what we need to do. I hope you like us!!!

Yep, my kids are both super excited about it! We have a DS too that's 5.5mo, so we will put him in Flounder's a few times but not too often. DH & DS1 are both wondering who I've signed us up to sit with, so I'll PM you.
