So sorry. I don't know what else to say. I am so disappointed for you. I know how much you planned for that day and all of the work you put into it. The rain is so unpredictable there and it seems you got caught up in a bad storm. In hindsight, it would have have been better to cancel, but maybe the pictures will turn out ok. (Fingers crossed).

Ohhhh Rach I am feeling so bad for you I just can't imagine how hard it was trying to keep it together knowing you weren't happy with the hair/makeup but then on the other hand if you canceled you may not have had another opportunity during your trip....lots of conflict

It was keeping it together, and i'm the type of person who loves from their toes and hurts from their toes.. I'm so sensitive. I was doing really good up until now... but its gets worse through the night.

That's exactly it, I couldn't cancel because tonight was the only 'free night' to shoot the photos because we were leaving sunday that left saturday evening.. but we wanted at least one full day in the parks and to have a nice dinner.

Oh wow.... I'm sooooo sorry about that whole experience. I can only imagine how you felt I don't even know what else to say except that I'm sorry.

And I can't believe that Roots couldn't even shoot a generic "Thanks for your business" or something... I wish I could say I hope to hear things get better but I have this STRONG feeling that they don't.

I know, I thought they could sent a quick responce back.. but oh well Dbf says maybe they didn't get it.. who knows.

Oh, that sounds terrible! I totally would've lost it, if I were you...I hope your trip got at least a little better after this horrible day? Or, at the very least, didn't get any worse?

Welcome, I'm glad you've joined... It's like almost traumatizing when you go through a bad hair and make up experience.. it really is. I"ve had my hair and make up done NUMEROUS times here in Ottawa, ON for multiple occasions and I guessed i've been blessed because they all were beautiful.

I should have cancelled, too late now. I'm hoping they aren't as bad as I'm thinking.. I'm sure the pictures will be beautiful.. because their work is amazing.. i just don't like my hair or make up..

They are absolutely fabulous photographers.. I know their work will be beautiful.. I"m just worried about the way I"m going to look because my hair and make up was so ****ty.

Ohh.. a bad cut and color is worse because you have to wait for it to grow out.. but just like DBF said " I dont have to purchase any photos if i dont like them"

I’ve been off sick from Work Monday and now today from 1030am and on. I had to go in this morning for an interview within my department, but I bombed it. OHH.. I didn’t have any time for preparation and go over my notes because I was so sick on last night. At this point, I’m just going to keep my fingers crossed that I did better than I think.

It started on Friday, just a few stomach cramps here and there.. nothing too serious I thought. On Satuday, it worsens with a couple of trips to the washroom along with a whole day of stomach cramps but I was still able to be mobile for the afternoon because I chose not to eat anything. Sunday I stayed in my PJ’s all day and sat on the couch … I was in so much pain….come Monday I was experiencing a oh you know where this is going…A complete colonic cleansing that seems to have lasted all afternoon Monday until 9:45pm. At this point Dbf decided to head out to the grocery store and came back with 30 dollars worth of medicine, liquids, Gatorade ANYTHING he can think of.

Now, It’s Tuesday afternoon, my situation has not changed, I just bombed my interview. But it also sucks because were suppose to go and visit my grams this upcoming weekend and pick up Kelly (she’s staying with us another week or two) but I won’t be able to go IF I’m SICK or I’ll have to wear a mask around my grams. I’m thinking I just might be lactose intolerant.. My doctors appointment isn’t until Friday at 1:30pm because she’s on vacation.

The only good thing about being sick is that I can share a quick visit form the circus for Princess Momma and post my grams shopping excursion for a new do!!

My amazing aunt, who has been like a mother to me and is mostly the prime caretaker/doctor appointment taker with my grams situation because she’s lives literally around the corner, had booked an appointment for my grams to get a new do i.e. A wig.

We happen to be visiting that weekend, so I went along with them. I took some photos (I hope it didn’t bother anyone at the time, but I know my grams will smile at them once she’s gotten over this obstacle in her life) of the appointment.

Please excuse my grams, she was having a really bad week and she was a little bit miserable during this appointment and the photos are a bit blurry. Here goes:

First up,

This one was my fav, but it need to be shorter not longer than her ears,

Second to last one, Not bad at all,

Last one,

Grams Surfing through the book of Wigs (This one was way too big),

Which one did she pick? Well on this appointment she didn’t find anything she liked, she wanted something short and the same color as my favorite wig. I guess, you’ll have to wait until Sunday night before I can post the one she bought because I still haven’t seen it yet.

Here's a short but sweet visit from the circus, now that I just bought new tickets the seating arrangements were different at the Montreal show than some of the US shows and the current Canadian ones.. anyways my tickets were 250.00 each and we were right besides the stage… literally. All my pics are located on my computer and i've been using Dbf's lately because my labtop screen isn't coming through.. I dont know Anyways.. here goes...

So far,

-Check in was the best we’ve ever experienced,
-Change of plans because Dbf wasn’t feeling too good
-Hair and Make up were late by almost 26 minutes
-I hated the final results of my Hair and Make up
-We were running late for the photo shoot
-IT RAINED THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SHOOT
-Half way through, did a quick bathroom check and my hair was worse than it had begun
-Felt so discouraged and disappointed on the way back to the hotel after the last couple of hours

From here, IT ONLY GET”S WORSE…
