Getting caught up on your udates! Love the countdown!!!

When you get down to single digits, don't you wonder how you survived all the long waiting and anticipation??!!!

I can remember back to when my countdown ticker was at
1 Year 1 Month 1 Day

I thought that was so neat, then when it said
1 week 1 Day......

I was thinking, where did all that time go????

Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!!

I know! Peopel at work keep laughing at me becasue I have a countdown doing on my dry erase board too...and I tell them I've been counting since 304 days so 5 is nothing!

I love all the little milestones that make you feel that much closer!

I am fully intending on returning with a great trip report, a n awesome dining report, and tons of pictures to show you guys!!!!

How was your weekend with the cousins?

Yam we love them too...but I think Skye cheated on hers...mine was competely coincidental - the first time!

The kids love Just Dance and I love to watch...sometimes it is really funny, especially watching Tyler playing. I play here and there but not much...I'ma wimp so I tire too easily!

I am not expecting any issues. We pretty much have our week cut out for us. Tyler has football tonight (first week in full gear) from 5:30pm - 7pm when we go to the Manditory Parent Meeting and then the pool party. Then he had practice Tuesday thru Friday 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Skye has gymnastics (first week of the new session) Tuesday from 5:45pm - 7:30pm and Wednesday from 4pm - 5:45pm. But Lou is off so he will be able to take Tyler...just makes my life a little less hectic! She also has her last week of dance camp on Wednesday and Friday from 1:30pm - 3pm. Lou is working tonigh, Thursday and Friday so I'm on my own there! In between there, we have to finish packing. I should be mostly packed but there are a few things here and there we need to look for or gather...and of course there will be chargers and last minute morning of things left.

Friday night we will come home from football practice, the kids will shower, we'll have dinner and maybe roll Skye's hair (we'll see what she decides), pack last minute things, make sure the DS, PSP, laptop, my phone and Tyler's phone, and my camera battery are all charging, pack up the car with everyting except our carry-ons, and go to bed. Ty and I will probably have a bit of a difficult time falling asleep but Skye usually doesn't ... when she's ready she's ready!

My dad will drop us off at the airport Saturday morining around 4:15am-ish because Lou does not get off until 6am and we wull be taking off at that time!!!!

So all-in-all, should go by quickly and smoothly.

Our time with the cousins was great! We went to Six Flags on Thursday. Didn't get back until 11:30 and my parents started a fire and we made s'mores at midnight! Friday we went shoppping and then a friend let us all come over and swim in their pool. Saturday we went to Chicago. We did some shopping, saw the Bean and went to Navy Pier. All in all, a very fun time! You're week will go by VERY quickly! You'd better do a TR so I can see all the cute pictures of Ty and Skye!

This time next week we will be at starting our dinner at Coral Reef!!!

Football was cancelled for weather tonight and now there is nothing going on. That also means no parent meeting or pool party...and of course it was rescheduled for next Monday...and we won't be here...we'll be at MICKEY'S HOUSE!!!!!

We are gettign so excited!!!!!

You can count the number days left on one hand!! Our church was supposed to go to a minor league baseball game, but it got cancelled due to rain too. Still can't believe how close you are!

Next week at this time we will be either in our room at All-Star Movies getting ready for bed or at Downtown Disney playing at Disney Quest...and our vacation will be almost 1/3 over!!!! WOW, if that isn't a horrible thought I don't know what is!!!!

I pre-ordered our photopass today. I figured saving $50 is a good thing and we should be able to use it a lot over our 17 days!

I think I am going to brings a fifth small suitcase becasue I keep coming up with more little things that would make our trip better. And I am always afraid of our cases weighing too much. We do get a total of six checked bags so we're still under our allowance...have not decided yet though.

We're gonna weigh the bags that are done. SO far we have never had a bag be over but you just never know!

One and a half more days!!!!

This time next week we will be packing up at All-Star Movies so we can make out move in the morning! Part one will be almost over! Lou will be coming in the morning!

We have so many little things to do...and I just don't know where to start!

Let's start with dinner...Skye made PB&J and Mac & Cheese. She was a busy girl today "babysitting" her friend Skyler's little sister Zoie and doing flip flops and back walk overs...

Tomorrow at this time we will be in a Southwest Airlines jet hopefully in the air just having taken off!!!

So here I am at work a whole hour early (and then some) waitig for the next five minutes to pass so I can check in on-line for our flight. We don't have a working computer that is hooked up to a printer and I am one of those people who likes it in my hand when I get there, not having to wait at a kiosk to re-print. So here I sit...

Four minutes! And of course I had to try it, you know, just to check...didn't work! What I am going to do with myself for the other half hour till I can punch in I do not know!

So it is one more day and in three minutes I will have all the paprework and technicalities done and out of the way!

I do, however, still have a ton of little things to do at home.

Two minutes...

Skye and I did our first coat of nail polish and top coat last night. But one of our bags is a couple of pounds over 50 so I need to thin that out. I have to pack our carry-ins. I have to get everything charging in the same or...

...one...

...similar place. I have ot make sure we have everything. I have to run to the bank. I have to leave a note for Lou with all the things he needs to do before he can come and a note...

...and the verdict is...


A30, A31, and A32!!!! Yea, that paid off. We like getting on early to get a seat near the front...and be able to get our carry-ons stored near us. With people being allowed to bring those big carry-ons, a lot of the time the people getting on late have to store their cary-ons somewhere else. Normally, ours fit under the seats in front of us but I am thinking we may be bringing one if the bigger (although not a small suitcase sized) bag for most of our stuff. Skye has a Tink purse like a messenger bag that her stuff she will need in flight will be in. Tyler is carrying her lap top bag and that has extraroom for misc stuff. So if I can get all our other things in a stoe-able bag, we'll be good. Plus less bags is good...becasue it is loking like we will have 5 or 6 to check!

...for my parents for when we are all gone.

We have about six hours!!!!!

So I ran for cash on my way home.

Took Ty to football practice...which got over early for some reason.

Ran to Walgreens, which is not my usual choice for pics, to get discs made of what was on the strips from before so we'd start fresh.

We came home and threw on a tiny pork loin roast which Ty said he was not going to eat and then pretty much ate the whole thing!

We redid some of the packing but I don't think the big one was really that off. I think three of our bags are between 45-50 pounds. One is about 25 pounds. and then we have a little rolling duffel that is not even full but that we are using for those odds and ends that show up...like chargers and such. We also have one rolling duffel to carry on, a backback (school sized) which is holding our little Mickey park bag and my camera in the bag I borrowed from my friend among other things. Skye has her Tink purse that is bursting at the seams and her Tink back pack to carry Chichi, Chichi Beese, and Elle (cause Tyler won't carry her through the airport anymore!). Ty has his lap top bag. It seems like a lot but it really isn't when I think it is for four people for 17 days!



And we loaded the car with everything escept carry-ons.

Skye and I painted our nails...





And now we are watching "Four Weddings" becasue the winner was at Brookfield Zoo!!!!

We're heading to bed in a few minutes!!!!!

Than ... We're so excited!!!

Now to get a few hours of sleep....easier said than done!

I will definitely be bringing back lots of info for a great trip report and dining review!

And we did cut her bangs a coue of weeks ago...she had some little hairs growing in there (we called them her baby bangs) and she wanted real bangs so we cut a little....she liked it, I don't so much! But it's ok...she's still cute!
