I feel the same way. I really wanted this for Alan and Ilona.

I'm happy for Joey. He really did well all season and grew a lot, not just dancing, but acting some of the parts.

Ilona too. I'm glad she got second place.

I haven't watched in years as it became more obvious that the producers made up "reality" situations to put the star and the contestants through. And they always have on some evil person to rile everyone up. In the beginning, it really used to be about trying to help the Bachelor(ette) find love. But, the show's score card has been something like a 90% failure rate, with only a handful staying together. So, they've added in all those non-real situations now for ratings.

But, recently, it seemed that Joey is one of the popular Bachelors.

They have never done that in the past 32 seasons. The Pro dancer may be there as (s)he competed in the current season. But, have that specific pro and past star hand off the trophy, no.

It IS a nice touch as you said, that they may want to keep in going forward.

Well I was way too tired to watch last night so I tried to watch on Hulu but only last weeks was there. I ended up watching clips on YouTube, very efficient.

Some of those freestyles were so meh…

Especially Danny’s, there was hardly any dancing and so last year for the theme.

Joey’s was fine but did I miss something? Why a tennis theme?

I liked Ilona’s more the the other two but my favs were Stephan and Chandler.

I wanted Joey to win and was surprised when Ilona’s fan base just missed the mark.

It was a good season. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I saw Stephen’s freestyle and it was so good. His dance was huge for mens gymnastics but also the emotions and the two worlds colliding for them. His love of gymnastics and Rylee with dance.
