I don't understand what you mean. If you book 16 months out you can still keep a look out for discounts on the cruise you booked. Why wouldn't you unless you hate saving money.Yes, but if I haven't put in for vacation 16 months earlier I can't take advantage. Many people I know are in the same situation. And I'm not going to waste my first choice vacation option in the hope that there will be disounts a few months out. I need to know what I'm doing for Christmas 2026 right about now if I have any hope of getting that time off. We've only been able to cruise with Disney twice during Christmas time and both time were booked in the summer the year before.
