Why does EVERYTHING have to be an issue. For crying out loud, the teacher made a comment. We don't even know exactly how the comment was stated. Maybe the teacher was discrete and it SEEMED like he yelled it out to the class.
I REALLY feel sorry for the kids have have parents that will "REPORT THE TEACHER" for every little thing. Do you really think that it helps your child to get involved in non-issues like these? When do your children learn to stand up for themselves? Are you going to go running to the president of your child's company when his boss says something mean to your snowflake? Also, WHY does everyone automatically assume the teacher is in the wrong. Kid lie (not that the OP's son is lying but in other cases), get over it.
Then, next week there will be a parent at school ranting and raving about how the school didn't let them know they suspected their son was smoking.
All you "report it" people, spend a week in the schools and your view will change dramatically on your opinion of what REALLY goes on in the schools and you will feel pretty foolish over some of the comments you have made here.
