I'm not sure if this has been covered (only read back about 5 pages), but we had planned a quick trip to Vegas at the end of March to use a Delta companion pass and two free Hyatt nights. Cancelled Hyatt nights online, no problem, free nights back in our accounts (they had June expiration that stayed the same). I had to message Delta over FB Messenger and it took a couple days for a response, but they are refunding the fare we paid, giving back our companion pass, AND extending the companion pass expiration date until the end of 2020 (it was a 3/31 expiration, hence why we were going to use it soon). The rep indicated they are extending all companion pass dates until year end. Pretty painless process overall.

Nice of Delta! My flights were one on miles, which I know they will refund, but the 2nd was cash/gift cards, which I am guessing I am just going to get back in a voucher that will expire before I have a chance to use it.

So, my dd19 is currently in Temple, TX for a couple days. They left wdw yesterday, stayed last night in P'cola with family of her friend and then drove straight today to TX. She was supposed to stay with the friend's family but apparently, the sister of friend is under quarantine. She hung out a lot with her friend and friend's mom who have now tested ++. Sister is quarantined and the rest of the family. So, my dd and her friend are staying with the grandparents and then heading out here. Friend is going to stay with us until the house is no longer quarantined but I think that is a minimum of two weeks...? This is all just so crazy. I hope I have enough TP :scared:
Check WB Mason for TP. Someone on a conference call with DH said they had some and then everyone got quiet (aka everyone was buying a case)! So, we have a case coming.

We probably have enough TP for 2-3 months already (bought 3 huge packs on sale before the TP shortage, still have 2 left), so I was kind of shaking my head. He said he wants to donate it if we don't need it (our local pantry needs donations). We also bought up some GS cookies to donate from a troop that had their cookie booth cancelled and made a cash donation. Going to be tough times for many.

Did you cancel your AA flights yet? I have 4 flight to Jamaica next month that I've been holding off cancelling. I also have the Aspire $250 credit, but I was hoping if they cancel the flight I would just get the points refunded.
We just had a zoom “visit” with my siblings. My sister told me she just cancelled an April trip on AA booked on miles and that they were redepositing her miles and refunding all fees. She says she emailed the regular AAdvantage email about a week ago and got the response today. I’m going to send an email today and be patient but that’s good news.

We can’t find ground beef here at all. In this situation, I’m fine with whatever fat content though I prefer lean. We just have none and I have a few things I’d like to make. I need a couple other things like coffee and tortilla chips. Shouldn’t be a ‘run’ on those. I think I’m battling Costco today. Trying to psyche myself up for it 😬
I was able to get some dry goods at Target online earlier this week. Most if it shipped, except the olive oil.

And this has been the longest rolling 7 days ever, I swear. My job is chaos and I come home and can't relax - brain won't shut off and people email from work constantly. I know I am not alone in that.
My work is slowing down as everyone adjusts to the new normal, but life is crazy with the kids home and all the restrictions. I am very worried about my job stability though (not now, but in a quarter or two). But that's nothing compared to so many on the front lines trying to hold society and our healthcare system together...

Is it me or is it starting to feel like Groundhog Day?
OMG, that's exactly what I said yesterday!!!!

I was already getting stir crazy in the house. We've done some walks around the block and chatted with neighbors from a safe distance, but I was so antsy yesterday, at 4:50 I went down and told the kids "put on your shoes, we're getting out of here!" Our town has at least a dozen state and town parks and nature preserves (the kinds city folks take weekend vacations to visit), so we just drove 2 miles up the road and went for a hike. Saw 1 other family out, but otherwise quiet. It felt great to be out of the house!

We cancelled out Aug AK cruise today. When things calm down we will rebook for next summer. I still have my Saw flights. Depending on what's going on we may just fly to WA and spend the 2 weeks there (or change the flights for fewer days). One of my oldest friends lives in OR so we could also drive down there

So happy to see SW extended travel fund expiration. We only have $180ish and probably could use it in time, but makes me hopeful if we can't.
