Just saw SW is extending travel funds that would have expired between March 1 and May 31st to June 30th 2021....also any new travel funds created due to a cancellation in the same time period will also expire 6/30/2021
This is awesome!! And the right thing for SW to do.
As @Calfan said to me privately, we are taking full credit for this with our tweets today, LOL!!!

Got an email from frontier saying we can cancel or change our flight (end of May) with no fees if we do it by March 31. But if we cancel the flight I will also be cancelling the whole wdw trip. And FP day is on Monday. What to do....what to do....

I haven't done it yet, but I have decided I have to pull the plug on our April trip to see my life long love Rick Springfield at Flower and Garden. I worked so hard to get great rooms, Moonlight Magic and the perfect FP's. But I just can't see it being safe to go 4 weeks from tomorrow. Then I can just move on, trying to get a room for July with my dd, with my points from this trip (and I won't need to use my AA miles to book something). Anyone wanna talk me out of it and tell me I am being silly and should wait for Disney to cancel LOL???? (the fact that they wont' just do it yet, is just rude at this point, waiting till the last minute is just not right).

My dd is now going to be working from home as of Saturday morning also, so dh is the only one in our immediate family working out of the house.

I saw on an Aldi-centric IG post that Aldi was temporarily raising all their temp and hourly employees wages by $2/hr. All the supermarket/drugstore workers definitely deserve a raise now. And, yes, Infollow Aldi pages on Instagram :teeth:

They closed all Florida State Park Campgrounds this week and they are all full of snowbirds at this time. We met some very nice Canadians that had just started their trip last weekend. Hope they make it back safely.
That explains it!

Maybe you can capture some of those Quebec'ers that were all on the road back north today. I saw more high end RV's then I've ever seen. All the nice ones and most from Quebec with 1 Tiffin from New York. It's like someone told them to head for the Border - I don't know, maybe some campgrounds in Florida closed down, because there were many more than I've seen on other trips. There were other snowbirds also, but the Quebec contingent was exceptionally large. There's a little game in my head where I read tags while driving.

Hope it gets much better quickly for you!
The Canadians can return home, but maybe they are worried if that could change so they are heading back early. Also, it might have to do with their health insurance. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We saw so many Quebec and Ontario license plates/RVs on Monday while driving north! Like, the rest areas is northern Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina were FULL!

Today they had a couple of temporary signs up advertising how many parking spots were available.

And there go all those dollars that would be spent here for campsites, hotels, groceries, dining out, and other shopping right out of the country.

PA governor ordered all "non-life sustaining businesses" to close tonight. Not exactly sure what this means, we are supposed to have a couple of dead trees taken out tomorrow if the weather cooperates.
You might still get it done. It's mostly not being enforced until Saturday.

One of the key stipulations is that the business must close the physical location. With landscapers, sometimes the equipment is not stored in a central location so individuals might still be able to operate. Probably will depend on how big of a crew and what equipment is needed... and how willing the biz is to comply with the mandate right away.

There's a link in this article with what is supposed to be the full list:

Sorry if we've talked about this. I haven't kept up with all the craziness this week. CIP bonuses - are referrals that were created with 80K bonus /$5K spend still valid? or will it automatically update to the new bonus?

Yay! So if we have to cancel our May Universal trip for my 30th I can reschedule :D That's a tiny silver lining!
