how do they let you know if you didnt get accepted?

Just curious how they let you know if you didnt get accepted. Everyone says they get this big envelope with all the information when they get accepted. what comes if you don't? It's only been a week since the phone interview, but sitting on pins and needles we are the whole family. got a postitive attitude going though!!
Does anyone know what the acceptance percentage is lately?

I havn't seen the envelope ...(the only one I have seen is my brother's and he got accepted last Spring) ... but I've heard it's a small, buisness size envelope. Gosh .... I don't want to even think about getting that ...ehhh
