The critically injured biker was not helping hid friend, he was blocking the SUV. His family is delusional. No license means no motorcycle. If he had been obeying the law he'd be uninjured. And 5 warrants indicates more than " a little weed" . And last time I checked, weed is not a narcotic, am I right? If you lay with dogs, you might get fleas.

The SUV driver said he got off the highway because he had 2 flat tires.

On the news - not sure which channel. I gotta be honest - I may have bee so upset from watching the video that they could have been referring to the biker. I'm pretty sure they said he was in a coma and would be paralyzed. (The biker) The pictures they showed of the SUV driver looked like he was pretty messed up.

I personally have 0 sympathy for the injured bikers - none! The video is chillng!

There is no "brakes" on a bike. It could have ended there with the cops coming since the wife obviously had time to call since she wasn't driving. you have a choice to not run over people. he had the sympathy to get off his bike and help his friend get up, didn't deserve to be run over. I hope the SUV driver gets charged with attempted manslaughter since that is what it was.

yes, there are brakes on that bike. You can see the brake lights come on in the video as he looks back to make sure the SUV is going to hit him so they have an excuse to beat ANOTHER innocent citizen as this gang has done in the past. It is not manslaughter when you are being threatened by and angry mob with weapons. It's self defense.

The photos they've been showing of a man in a hospital with the neck brace is the motorcycle driver. I haven't seen any pictures of the SUV driver from after the incident.

What was the drive suppose to do? If there were a number of people slashing your tires while you were in the vehicle wouldn't you assume they were coming for you next?

Very few if any of these bikers had a license, tag or insurance. They NYPD has been told not to do anything about these gangs.

Why don't you watch the video before shooting off your mouth! The guy in the SUV was surrounded my a multitude of bikers. That in itself would be threatening to anyone. Then one pulled in front of him and purposely braked. He couldn't not hit him. They then slashed his tires and when he tried to escape (with his wife and 2 year in the SUV) he had no choice but to run them over to get away. They caught up and surrounded the SUV, broke the windows, dragged him out of the car and beat him senseless! He's in critical condition!
The biker who is in he hospital has no one to blame but himself and his fellow bikers.

I am positive I heard on the news that this bike gang has been an issue before (the story is local news). I say catch them all, lay them on the ground, and drive over all of them.

I have seen one hazy shot, but he was still laying on the ground.

You can get hurt pretty bad if you are next to an SUV's tires when it starts to drive......

I'm not sure what this was in reference to in my post? I had said that I had read Cruz was not injured, he was the guy who breaked in front of the SUV, so he was bumped by the bumper, not hit by the tires. Not arguing anything, just clarifying

Yes he got hit because he instentionally slowed down to cause an accident so sad too bad he rolled the dice and lost I have no sympathy for savages and that is what he is
