Hi Carla. We missed you the other night.

I'm a little slow...what is H &H?

If you're a horrible wife, then I shouldn't even be married.

Here's the thing...Joe also works two jobs. He has his full time job and then he works 3 or 4 days a week, 8 hours a day, depending on the week. I am so sick most of the time that there's a lot of "wifely duties" (no, not those kind) that I neglect. I am going to give him credit where credit is due. He's really good about cleaning the house. He'll do laundry, dishes, vacuum, pretty much anything. I just can't bring myself to do a lot of this stuff, because the longer I'm up, the worse my pain is. A lot of the time, it is all I can do to just drag my butt to work every day. Granted, he doesn't do the work like I would do it. If he's, say, mopping the floors, he'll just go over it quickly with a mop and disinfectant in the bucket. I'm the one who will get down on my hands and knees and really give it a good scrubbing. But he does it and doesn't complain. Honestly, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have his help. He may not do things like take me to the hospital when I go, and he kind of just expects me to be there with the kids so he can go have his fun, but he's the biggest help as far as keeping the house neat and clean goes.

Same here, I've never been the neatest person in the world. That is one thing that hasn't changed in the 13 years I've known my husband.

Ha, and y'all say I'M evil!!

You are so easily amused.:lmao:

AARGH! You guys are evil. I want to see those pictures!

Well that's just how it is. If you want something done right, you can't just do a half *donkey*ed job at it. When will he learn?

Then someone, somewhere would be complaining about us complaining!

I didn't realize he works 2 jobs. Sounds like he certainly does a lot around the house, that is good. :goodvibes

On Mike's one day off he has cleaned the house before. HOWEVER, as much as I appreciate it, in many cases his version of "cleaning" is to move stuff to a "hidden spot" just to finish that section of the house. It doesn't work like that. Also he does not properly sweep up the dog hair on the floor (I've been vacuuming it lately) and then the mop just drags it around, and it gets all in the mop for next time...ewwww. :guilty: I want to get that mop I saw on tv (can't recall what it is now) that you can pop off the mop head and throw it in the washer(and I think the dryer too :confused3). But I wonder if the hair would come out.

I think there was something else I wanted to say (as if I haven't said enough ) but I can't think of it.

You know what? I was reading by age three. I think I attribute that to my mom reading us a book every night before bed. I'm not sure I believe in these programs.

I was too! They had to put me in the advanced kindergarten class ;)

I used to read Dr. Seuss books. My mom read them to me first and then once I learned I was constantly reading them

Do YOU like green eggs & ham? Well, DO YOU?

Is someone whining?

Now THERE'S a good idea!

Yes, you are.:lmao:

I could have sworn there were more than just the three of us there. Maybe it was Sarah and Patrick or something.:confused3

That sounds great to me. Well, maybe a little over the top at 120. That can get pretty uncomfortable.

And you know what the worst thing is. Even when it's that hot, us women STILL have to wear a bra. That has got to be the most uncomfortable thing ever.

Well, at least he's good for something.

We didn't say it, but we thought it.:goodvibes

Am I evil if I say I'm glad he felt terrible?

Just whining about men. And guess what? You're the only man here so far. Looks like you might be in trouble.

Oh, and how bout that last hockey game?;)

(I'm such a slacker, I didn't even see the game. Had to ask Betsy what was going on.)

I will never understand why you love the heat so much. If I could ride splash mountain all day over and over, then I *might* like it.

I think we are going to scare UJ away (like we did to Dan :rolleyes1)

:lmao::lmao:

I still missed reading some pages but I see you are going to bed QM. nite! sweet dreams!

Oh and the coke can, yes it "exploded" in my car...I say that in quotes because thankfully it didn't spray coke everywhere, but the can was busted and when I picked it up it started fizzing out. All from the heat!! Found it that way when I got in the car after work (the can had been in my car all weekend)

Scotty left a soda in the van once a few years ago. Thankfully it was diet. Loren and I came out of a store and got into the van and we both felt drips on ourselves, it was raining soda on us from the overhead. At first I was kind of confused and then I noticed on the floor that there was a torn can on the floor and realized what it was.

wow, that's pretty bad.

why did you say thankfully it was diet? No sugar everywhere, just sugar substitute?

I think because it wasn't as sticky. It was sticky enough mine you. It was awful. At first I couldn't figure out why it was raining on me.

:lmao: picturing it is SO funny though

Oh it was funny. Picture it being hot and humid outside and you get inside your vehicle and it feels like you've entered the rain forest.:rotfl2:

sorry I wasn't around.

Hart & Huntington. They have a location at Universal City Walk

yup sure am

haha you gotta join FB

I read that it will be every quarter of the hour (ie. 12:00, 12:15, 12:30, 12:45, etc) and that the night show is different from the day show (with its lights on) Each show is about 3 minutes long. :thumbsup2

oh, my coworker told me to call the vet. It happened to her dog and he had parasites. :sad2: I hope it's nothing serious. I was thinking if it happened again today that Mike should call the vet when he gets home at 2.

We switched food several weeks ago, if not more than a month. So I wouldn't think it was that. Esp with the blood.

Ah ok thanks for the clarification!

Well, hopefully it's not parasites. Like I said, it's happened to Bo a couple of times and he's always just gone back to normal on his own. No vet visits. We always say if it goes longer than 3 days then we'll take him to the vet.

So I got a free dining pin code in the mail today from Disney for our vacation dates. We're not going to use it. Will be a complete wash from the deal I have right now so not worth canceling and then re-booking.

*raises hand*

oh, well as long as you are still getting a better deal then :thumbsup2

ok glad I'm not the only one. And I'm also pissed that i just found out that chris spent all but $5 of the $20 I had been saving all week on himself today. I just got "you know what" and am feeling like poo so don't want to cook but now I HAVE to because he spent that $.

Yeah, still getting a good deal so no biggie. :thumbsup2

sorry girl  Hope you can cook something comforting though....do you have chocolate in the house?

We are having boiled crabs tonight and watching a movie...what movie you ask? Well we still have to get one. Any suggestions before I leave work?

QM I hope I didn't get u sick through the computer!

Chance has been sick too. He has had the runs and he vomited yesterday as well. Today Mike saw blood in his poop, so we'll be calling the vet if it continues tomorrow. :sad2:

aww....hope he okay :goodvibes

but I got mine in white (and the dryer looks the same) but I would have chosen gray or stainless if I could have (I got mine on a discount, a mess-up on a Lowe's order became my gain!)

THat is sweet :thumbsup2
