Filling the CB with Debates- Yes or No

As long as everyone plays nice, I have no problem with the debates on the CB. It could be an eye-opening experience that we wouldn't have had otherwise.

I don't know. As long as everyone plays nicely debates are fine with me, but I know how fiery debates can get and I admit I come to the DIS for fun and fluff, not fire!

So many times on the Families board Cruise board or whatever, a thread will get a bit heated and a moderator will post something like "Take this to the debate board." What will they do now? I guess just lock lots and lots of threads. Hopefully they won't say, "Take this to the Community Board."

NO, there are plenty of boards for debates, we're not limiting their ability to debate anything by making them go somewhere more appropriate to debate; NOT a Disney fan forum.

Unless, of course, it's a Disney related debate.

It really doesn't matter to me - I never went to the debate board and I will just avoid any debates when they come to the Community Board.

I work with the public all day - everyday - and I come to this website for a friendly atmosphere that makes me smile. If I want to get worked up over something, I will just go back to work.

I don't believe that anyone non-administrative is in any position to put stipulations on posting access.

I, for one, intend to post any topic that I previously would have posted on the debate board here.
