Reservations at Space 220 Lounge

I was actually going to ask about party size. Is 4 the ideal number to try for at the lounge? We are travelling with our adult kids and there are 6 of us total, but if it's easier to get a reservation for fewer that would be better than not getting a reservation at all. (It's a must do for my oldest but the others will not be too disappointed if they can't go.)
To my knowledge there are no tables in the lounge for 6. I don’t know if the system acknowledges anything other than their set tables.

4 is actually the maximum size for the lounge so you could do two reservations splitting the party and sit near each other.

Thanks! I'll try first for a party of 4 later in our stay to have the best odds of getting a reservation.

I know it would be easier to book the restaurant, but $80pp for pad thai does not seem worth it. (That appears to be their only vegetarian option)

I've eaten in restaurant twice. Once when it was fairly new and our food was good ~ overpriced but we wanted the experience. Second time food was fair ~ def not worth the price. Ironically the best view of the "windows" are in the upper level (restaurant and lounge). The closer you are seated the less you can see and the more fake the screen is. I would not return unless I went to the Lounge or Bar.

I was trying for April 30, and just 2 people. It's actually just me, but reservations for 1 are pretty difficult to get, so I always put 2. I might try to get a day of spot at the bar if the line isn't too long.

ETA: I guess it was actually 60+3
Try searching for a party of 3 if 2 doesn't work.

I noticed there was availability at the *restaurant* for our upcoming trip in April at 7:30 am EDT on the 60 day mark, for our arrival evening. We ate there last year and enjoyed it, but I didn't feel they need to pay for the fixed price meal for all of us again.

I wondered if they are purposely limiting the staffing on the *Lounge* because it cannibalizes the more profitable restaurant. That is, if they still have reservations available at the restaurant, why open seats at the Lounge, especially if they have issues with staffing?

Side note, I thought the ambiance was cool, but not more fun nor cooler than Oga's for a drink, and Oga's always has tons of availability at all times. And there are so many food options at Epcot!
