friends of ours were at WDW last week and did not have a Fantasmic dinner package and decided to go and try and get into one of the resturants. they chuckeled and told her they were booked but if she would go to Tower of Terror at 5pm and see what the wait time is, that would tell her what time to go and wait in line at Fantasmic!!! IE if the wait time was 45 min, then she should go to Fantasmic 45 min early. I guess it shows how many people were in the parks then and she could judge the crowd by that! I have never heard of that, does that sound like it would work?? maybe its a tip, maybe not!!! :flower: :flower:

If anyone would know the cast members would know! It makes sense if you think about it. After all wait times are effected by park attendence so the most popular ride wait time would be similar to the show wait time.

That is an interesting thought. I'll be interested to see if anyone tries that, and how it works.

This makes sense. We will be there next week and do not have a package so we will test it out! Thanks!

Great, looking forward to it....on a semi-related topic where is a good place to sit if you want to be one of the first exiting after Fantasmic (and not have a really bad view of course).......greg126

I honestly don't think this is possible to have a good view and not hit traffic on the way out I would focus on getting the best seat and I promise the traffic will be worth it.

I also don't think that this theory is always right. ToT is one of the most popular rides so if by 5:00 they wait is only like 10 minutes wouldn't that mean that more people have left to get a good seat at fantasmic? And if you showed up 10 minutes before the show on any night you will have a hard time finding a seat nevermind a good seat. Thats just how I see it.

We find the best way to exit if we are center or left is let the crowd clear a bit and then walk to the front of the theater toward the exit. THis avoids that awful skin to skin crowd trying to exit at the top. Ick

The following has worked for us the last 3 times at Fantasmic - but there's certainly no guarantee it will work again.

We've not queued up at all, arrive at the theater about 10 minutes before showtime but don't enter.

Right before showtime, CMs close the main entrance and take arriving guests to the exit and load the far right side of the theater.

The view is perfectly fine and we were among the first hundred people or so to exit.
