Well...they've both gotten well...FINALLY...and the big trip to Japan and Vietnam starts tomorrow! Staying at airport hotel this evening for their 7:20 AM flight to San Francisco where they change planes and take off again around noon for Toyko...and eventually Disneyland and then Vietnam. Sure hope phone service is good enough to send pictures ...heck, just hope it's good enough for them to call home! They have SO many family and friends anxious to follow the adventure on Facebook. One last home cooked meal for dinner tonight and the adventure begins!

Well...my 2 adventurers are ready for takeoff to Toyko! This will be the tough part of the trip...10 1/2 hours across the Pacific Ocean arriving in Toyko at 3 PM Friday! I've "put my order in" for souvenirs and TONS of pictures...especially from Toyko Disneyland!

Aren't they adorable? Yes, it's in a pretty "built up" area; must be some distance from downtown though...cost them $70 last night to GET to the downtown area to sightsee! Weather hasn't been good today....gale force warnings and heavy rain this morning. They're on the Bay and David said that water has to be close to freezing yet and it's pretty cool, especially with the strong winds. Rain was suppose to decrease this afternoon so hopefully they got to go out and see a few things.
