ROFR Thread April to June 2025 *PLEASE SEE FIRST POST FOR INSTRUCTIONS & FORMATTING TOOL*

Are you going for vgc again? Yes you have been waiting longer, i know how you feel because my international Baylake took foreverrrr and people that sent to ROFR a month after were closing and i was still waiting for them to find a notary it was awful.

If they take this from me i wouldn't have a choice but to try again and wait, direct is not in the budget yet, but it would actually really affect me because I would be short two days for an upcoming trip and potentially not close in time to have 7 month access to a planned february trip so i would be very sad but of course not the end of the world 🫠
Yes, waiting for VGC again. I keep wanting to add on at Poly, but I haven't been there, yet. I think the only downside to Poly is that it's busy/chaotic. I'm sure I'll love everything else about it. Honestly, most of my VGC stays, even on the hotel side, have been very busy/chaotic. So, maybe that won't bother me much at Poly.

I think you have a really high chance for yours to pass. I don't think I've seen SSR being bought back and it's still the main contract that I see people recommend purchasing. I still think about buying SSR myself. I just get caught up in the California resorts being so hard to book and that those are so close to home and so easy to drive to.

$95-$15200-160-AKV-Dec-0/24, 160/25, 160/26, 160/27-international seller- sent 4/25

The wait is brutal!
🫂 right there with you 😪 where are your international sellers from? If it were me I would gently ask the broker if they have a notary lined up already if it passes ROFR or if they coud at least urge them to start looking, if the embassy is their only choice it could take 6+ weeks for an appointment and them securing an appointment now would be great for you.

My sellers didnt attempt to schedule one until after we passed ROFR and that delayed things significantly.

Of course I don't think me asking the broker would have done anything for me because I don't think these brokers give a hoot to try to speed it up for you as long as their within the allotted time, but it's worth a shot if that suggestion would have been implemented it would have saved a whole lot of time for me on my BLT contract.

Didn't think to ask that but I will! They are out of ST. ALBERT in Canada

I was actually surprised that vgc didn't seem so crowded to me this past weekend! Poly is crazy but I am glad I am staying in the pit tower this year because I do want to experience it before making a direct decision. It is so different staying somewhere and walking thru!

My impression was at first strongly against purchasing there, but I feel like a 2 bedroom tpv which is what I'm trying for could really give me a whole new perspective 🤣🤣 it has the no restrictions going for it and boy is it hard to book a reservation there!

I know not all rooms have been declared but if it's always this hard and we love it, it is definitely something to consider!

Yes pretty much everyone here who has chimed in has told me i am good to pass ROFR so now it's just getting the damn email to move on with life lollll every night I go to bed saying tomorrow's the big day! 🤣🤣

The california resorts being so close to me has been a bit dangerous because 1 to 2 night dates popping up can easily be booked at the drop of a hat for me to go which will secretly eat up points for longer Florida vacations! But I do love it as well i mean its great for little getaways especially if a holiday pops up!

I can't imagine when I live in Florida and have access to so many resorts geez I'm going to need to join that 1000 point club! 🤣🤣
