It appears to be that way with CA resorts. My understanding is it is because of the way the law requires it?
For WDW, you can search for HA if you want it, but it doesn’t do the opposite…..the main search is both.
It’s a good question to ask DVC as to why they don’t have it set up the same way
Boardwalk isn't like that though. It is split there. I know this because when we decided to just start our trip at WDW this summer only HA 2br was left nothing in the normal search.
That's why I was confused.
Luckily we got our extra days at BCV to come through though and freed the room back up for someone. As it was the last room available and just 5 months out I felt I was okay at that point to book it while we looked for a normal room.
Sounds like the GV at Boardwalk might be different though possibly because there is a single room?
