DVC: Glassware Returning to All Studios

I can not wait to see how this turns out. We just got back from VB.
 
When I called housekeeping to ask for the glassware, the person who answered seemed ready for someone to yell at them. I just asked for the glasses and thanked them. I think she was in shock. I try to make it a habit if the room looks great like it should, I call housekeeping and tell them too. I also when we have a problem I call them and tell them. I also tell the managers the good and bad. If we report problems and good things to management in a timely manner they can try and fix it then and maybe see trends. I will get off of my soapbox now.
 
:goodvibes I just found out that my waitlist for VWL came through. We're going on a GG firework event from the Contemporary, so I was hoping...less hassle to get back, just a boatride away from VWL.

I can't wait until the ceramic mugs and glassware are once again standard, just there, no calls necessary, in a studio.

Oh, I didn't yell. It takes a lot for me to get upset. I just called and asked politely. I would have preferred to have them, but since we had the mugs it was not critical to me. The girl did seem as though she had been the brunt of a lot of complaints in that area.

Abuse of pools

Reservation System.

A magazine for DVC members not Disney advertising.

Communication of major changes before they happen.

I think we can do it, keep those letters, emails and phone calls going in. We don't want the big wheels to get too inflated with the thought that only they can decide what "we" want. :rolleyes:

WHY?

1. The bus system is open to EVERYONE who buys a Disney ticket. Get over it!
2. The time to address "pool abuse" is when you see it, not based on second and third hand stories on the DIS:confused3
3. I don't want my dues to go up for your magazine. Printing costs money! Advertising pays those bills. :confused3


I don't think this board decides what "we" want either. So it's more like "they think they can decide what "I" want! Don't assume you are speaking for "we"

YESSSSSSSSS! . Great news. After experiencing faux - glass in a BWV Studio last June I don't want to have to deal with it again!!
