Dumbo or Space Mountain

I have kids who can ride both. Is it better to hit Dumbo first thing in the morning and then do Space Mountain before the park closes or go ahead and ride Space Mountain and then quickly move to Dumbo?

Please advise! Most strategies assume that a rider of one would not be riding the other.

I don't know about Space Mountain, but I do know that Dumbo has a very slow moving line which means you could be in line forever.

If you're staying on-site, then this is my recommendation:

Go during EMH. As soon as rope drops, have your party (assuming you have 2 adults) go to Dumbo while you go to SM with their tickets to get Fast Passes. Then you can hightail it to Dumbo and get in line with them or wait a few people and get in line then so when your party is done with Dumbo, you could be ready to take them on again on Dumbo.

Then you can relax and go on Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's Flight, and other fantasyland stuff before going back to SM for your fast pass time.

Definitely do Dumbo first. Space Mountain is popular but the line is relatively fast moving, especially early in the morning.

We always hit Dumbo first at park opening if at all, then you can hit space mountain and wait the standby line or grab a FP for later. Dumbo does not offer FP.

Do Dumbo and all of Fantasyland first, then head over to Space Mountain. The SM line moves well and offers FastPass.

In fact, if I was going to do any ride in Tomorrowlands first it would be the Indy cars as that is the worst line ever to wait in. The fumes and noise from the cars can make you nuts, thow in a hot sun and I'd rather see the dentist.

I'll usually take my daughter to ride Dumbo first while my husband heads to Space Mountain to grab fast passes. We can usually do most of the fantasty land rides before it is time for our fast pass return.

Well, that's what I was gonna recommend, but OogieBoogie beat me to it. Divide and conquer! It works in the supermarket and at WDW.

I would do Dumbo first thing when you get there. The line moves very slow and I do not think there is a fast pass.

Dumbo first, as early as possible. That line is outside and gets HOT! At least the SM line is inside in the air conditioning.
