I had Weds. 9-24 off, E also, sorry boys off to school you go LOL.
We had planned to head to my gmas after the boys got out of school around 115pm (early dismissal
where was this when I was a kid?) Wellllll
115 turned into 6pm. So much for getting to gmas and relaxing before.
E and I went and got a pedicure

(yes he got one, mans had boots on 24/7 for 8months.. HE NEEDED ONE LOL) after we dropped the boys off at school. I also got my nails done and eyebrows waxed (which I believe the gal was having a bad day and took it out on ME LOL) after that we headed to the cemetery to visit with my dad for his 1yr anniversary of his passing. Took him some sunflowers (my favorite) and told him sorry I cant stay and chat (LOL) I have drinks of the day get ready for
Im sure he would have understood.
(He knew of our cruise and was looking forward to us and the boys going on a great vacation... it was really bitter sweet to go visit him but still have it be the start of my vacation. I know he was there with us along the way though.)
We then hurried to the
Disney Store as I had 2 shirts that I just bought that needed to go back for different sizes. Returned those found a new pair of shades for me, and headed for home. Mom picked up the boys from school and we met back at her house. She figured we would be ready to take off
BOY was she wrong LOL
I ran around the house like a mad women adding odds and ends to suitcases and carryons. E would just look at me and roll his eyes. We would weight the cases and when we found them to be under the 50lbs we would add more to them LOL. So Im sure we have over packed. But I feel much better having too much then not enough.
(boy would this come to bit me in the buns)
One by one E loads suitecases into the Tahoe
. I check the rooms and do a once over on my lists (yes plural there were a few). I see we are good to go, and lock up the house. Mom grabs her stuff and throws it in the car. We tell the neighbors goodbye and to keep an eye on our houses.. if they see anything coming out of them.. NO WE ARE NOT MOVING CALL THE COPS. LMAO!
A 2 hour ride turns out to be an hr and a half ride. On the way I realize I have left my sweatshirt at my friends and well
the one I did grab I just dont like. SO off to Target we stop. I get a sweatshirt, some unmentionables, black socks for the boys suits that I forgot, some earings, and a mini thing of lotion. E finds, a shirt and 2 watches
why he needs 2, his reasoning.. one is for my black stuff
one is for my brown stuff.. WHATEVER
.. I dont care Im on VACATION!!!!!
Off we go again with our new purchases
. Where Im going to put them I have no clue on since our suitcases are already filled to the brim with stuff. But Im sure we will make it work. I HOPE. We head to gmas grab some food at the local greasy spoon. The boys start on their homework, they colossal amount that their teachers gave them after they told us they were just going to have them read and write in their journals. We are about 1/3 done with it all for both boys. They should finish the majority of it oh the plane. I hope.
No internet connection at gmas so Im just using the time to start documenting our adventure, thank god for our neighbor letting us borrow their laptop, the one E gt from his shop didnt have wireless internet installed on it so we were able to log onto emails and of course our DIS MEETS thread to check in.
Since I was too excited to sleep last night, Im hoping to be exhausted and sleep like a baby tonight. I feel my eyes dropping, but the boys seem to be full of energy still. We all need our beauty sleep as we have an early flight tmrw out of LAX. 740am, which means we leave gmas at 5am, get up at 430 to shower and repack all our new stuff.
So on that note
good night my friends! Tmrw is another LONG day!
(sadly didnt take a pic of our luggage all about our living room.. dumb me.. I guess I could do it now as they are in our rooms and we pick our clothes from them daily. Great wait to empty them lol)
