They knew that it wasnt in our backyard, since well we still have dirt... (someday my wish will come true and a yard will be there... or better yet a pool!)

P said the waterpark (we have a community pool that has a mini kids area)... uumm no sorry kido thats a bit far of a DRIVE for you to go get a "treasure".

J said nana-nana's pool (thats my grandma, their GREATgrandma) umm if I said the waterpark is far.... her house is 2 hrs away buddy.. BUT nice guess

There was a while of DEAD silence they were tapped out of idea's. AND THEN.... it hit them... NANA's pool (my mom has one of those lil tiny plastic ones, that they can basically sit in but not really "swim", they use it to cool off in the summer when we have 104 heat here ) They asked if that was it... and we just shrugged ... so off they run to my moms house (remember across the street!) We watched them from our driveway and see them come out the side gate with....
(oh and see how horrible the pics are... good thing I finally got a new camera!)

After the boys wore out the wheels on their travel bags they were going to use to go to nana's house LOL We finally got them to open the next clue.

You will sleep very close to the ocean floor, Cross the street, watch for cars and check our front door.

Well now they were kind of confused cuz they were back at our house, and if they crossed the street they wouldnt be at OUR front door but my moms.. So I had to tell them well we were going to do this EARLIER but xmas eve dinner ran too long, and then well we were too stufed too follow them around so we sent them on their own.. so JUST CHECK THE FRONT DOOR lol

Again... I needed a new camera back then this is all I got.. Sad I know

In case you cant make out the images... they got Disney Yo Yo's, I thought at the time they were awesome cuz they retracted automatically.. so for them that dont totally have the yo-yo concept down it would work perfectly.. ya this one backfired on me.. I cant tell you how many times they have hit themselves with it. They are now in the garage sale bin (but hey they were from the dollar bin at Michael's so I cant complain, they did their job for this purpose!)

Right about now is when I was thinking and said to my mom and E, man I really hope they dont expect this every year now.. and right on cue, P says this is awesome we should do this every year. Sorry dude you know how hard this was for me to do. You get easter and we hide a basket then.. thats where the buck stops homie!

P rolled his eye... why? Not cuz of the cheesy clue (zip it Mozart LOL ).. no because he hates dress shoes. (He's my kid alright, if I could live in flops or kicks I would!) Off J goes running up the stairs.."Where you going?" E yells to him, "To check my closet" (see we dont keep shoes upstairs cuz I like to keep my carpets clean and if these children of mine come through with shoes on.. carpets stay not so clean. So we have a large shoe rack near the garage door that we keep all the dirty shoes) Since J was upstairs P went checking his room too... a bit later they come down puzzled? Then lightbulb moment folks.. lets check where we put our shoes everyday ...

ITS A MICKEY PLAYHOURS SNOWGLOBE

Sadly I have to report the globe is no longer with us. It was a casuatly of cleaning... When I was moving some of my bazillion post its to put in my Disney Planning Bible it fell off my desk and cracked. This was about May, the boys and I were sad.. anytime we would have a bad day we would shake it up and say soon we will be on vacation. Guess Ill have to pick something else up to replace it while we are cruising

Wallets... but we have wallets? P states. Well ya I say but not DISNEY ones (HINT HINT....they dont get it) P keeps on about how its a waste of a present because they both have wallets already... So I get frustrated and say FINE ILL TAKE THEM BACK (to the dollar section at Target lol) BUT my baby as always was so thankfull.. AWW mom Nater and Lightning McQueen wallets these are awesome! (I love you boy.. your my favorite LOL)

P was fast to move on to Clue #8 Food to eat all day, we'll even allow multiple stops at the ice cream bar, In order to get there we wont be driving in our car.

*Ill "see" ya all on Sunday, after girls weekend.... and yes I wont be TOO bad Melodie , just going to warm up the liver for the cruise... as FatCat would say lol!

NOPE they had no idea what a Port of Call is.. let alone any of the places I mentioned LOL I thought by now MAYBE just maybe they would put it together at least P.. but nope.. Just like every kid - Wii on the mind. That's probably what they thought at the start so they never put all the clues together!! Best thing is everyone seems to have enjoyed it. Can't wait to hear the last clues.

Quick as they could they ran up to our room. All we could hear is, J do you see it… no P do you? Oh wait ya I see it… can you reach it. (I then look at E as I gave that one to him to hide… and sure enough he tells me “WHAT? I put it under the bed, … then pushed it to the middle.” You dork they have lil arms they are not going to be able to reach it.) BUT when there is a will, there is a way. They got it alright, and brought it down to open it!

Again I am met with questions… WHAT do we need these for… it’s the middle of winter? (Im sure by now you can guess P said that LOL) J the loveable, thankful guy that he is, told P we can use them in the backyard.

As always P was off to hurry to the next clue LOL. Clue #10 “ Don’t forget to pack a shovel and pail, before we set sail, has anyone checked the mail?”

(sorry so short yall not really much to say about this clue… plus Im having to do this from work since E killed my computer and its at Circuit City with some KID now trying to extract my yrs worth of pics. Keep your fingers crossed they get them all!
