We have three generations booked on this cruise We will be happy to plan the next 20 months with you. It will be my father's (79) first Disney cruise, my mother's (77) second Disney cruise and my (46) and my daughter's ( 12) fourth Disney cruise. So excited to share this with my family. Glad to know we will have some company in our long wait.

Welcome to the long wait How old will the kids be in your group? Maybe we can start a kids chat group. My daughter and I just cruised on the Fantasy last month and loved it. So much that we convinced my parents to join us for this cruise. My daughter has a week long fall break during this time.

Our kids will be 7 & 5 at the time and my sister's will be 9 & 5. We're also on a long school Fall Break.

No one in our party has ever sailed with Disney before.
Our former inlaws have cruised RCI, Princess and then with us last year on Carnival (which was our family's first cruise...ever lol). My daughter who will be 23; will be joining us and this will be her first cruise.
Our son will be 12 at the time of sailing and hubby and I are in our mid 40's and reallly looking forwad to this. So glad to have found ya'll to trudge through these months with

Fall break for our son too!

Yippee for fall breaks It is definitely a lot less expensive to cruise in October, guess we'll just have to hope there aren't any hurricanes My daughter will be 12 also ( gave our ages at cruising). They will both get to choose between the kids clubs and the tween club at that age. It is nice to have choices.

We typically pick Oct for vacations due to decrease in fares and so far so good with the weather!

Have a Question:

Given the dates of this sailing; will they have a Halloween Party on board?

At work and only able to concentrate on Fish Extenders; which by the way was, up until yesterday a foreign concept lol. Minimizing Pinterest at lightning speed at my desk

Well, it seems they don't even have any halloween decorations let alone Halloween activities at the beginning of October unless they change things from last year. From what I read, they used to have activities throughout the month but discontinued that a couple years ago It would have been cool.

We were on the Fantasy last October. No special Halloween activities. We drastically underestimated Pirate night, however. Loads of fun and will definitely be bringing more Pirate gear on this cruise mateys.

Will Disney be sending out emails on a regular basis now? I don't typically get over excited about emails anymore but when I saw the subject line today on one. I got all "crazy" again ha!

I tried a trip report 5.5 years ago after my first Disney cruise on the Passporter board but it didn't get a good reception I just stick to reading them now. I'd be glad to read yours though

Hi folks! We booked this cruise! This will be our first 7-night cruise and we are super excited! Well, actually just me and DH are excited, we haven't told our kids yet.

It will be me, DH, DS (10), DS (7), DD (will turn 4 on the cruise!) Can't believe my kids will be that old!

My brother, his wife and 2 kids are also on this cruise, not sure if they will be on the boards.

This cruise seems far away--my son is in 2nd grade now, he'll be in 4th grade when we sail. Ugh!
