HELLO New girl! For today just weigh and maybe measure yourself for reference for next week. We don't have a set diet, of course, so you do whatever works for you. There seems to be a lot of Weight Watcher (WW) peeps and Calorie King calorie counters that we'd be happy to explain if you're interested. Just know that this thread is packed full of the most amazing women (and one thread dude) that will celebrate any little baby step towards getting healthy with you :grouphug: This thread is for YOU and use it however you need. Some people when faced with an especially challenging time come here to just keep strong. Or receive support they may not get IRL.

We joke that you have to post a BEFORE picture in a bathing suit, but DONT (unless you are reeeeally brave...thus far none are :rolleyes: )

Oh, you don't really post your "weight" Unless you need to for whatever reason (lots do), but just the weekly difference like: -2 pounds (since last week) in BOLD for my spread sheet like this: -2

ANY questions just ask...if that doesn't work, PM a "regular"

-0.5 lbs.

Not much but I'll take it. This past week was stressful and I didn't make many good food choices. Next week I'm predicting a big number. ;)

Yayyy! Utah's own David Archuleta is back home all day! Utah's young ladies (and at least one old(er) one!) are Freaking OUT!!!!!

He's from Murray Utah and there's cheerleaders on the news from Murray High are cheering his Welcome Home :cheer2:

Also High School Musical III is filming here in Salt Lake! Troy says HI Peeps!

It's worse! Somehow we never did totally synchonize. 3 weeks of the mobnth someone has PMS! I figure when DD(12) starts she'll take the 4h week!:scared1:

Well.... bad news on the scale. I am up for the first time (other than my WDW vacation week) since January. +.4 Not too terrible considering it is Aunt Flo time and I haven't been journaling my eating as thoroughly as I should. But I did count my points (at least mentally) and exercise. So I didn't totally fall off the wagon. I'll pick myself up do better next week.

Glad to see so many of you posting good numbers this morning! Way to go folks!......................P

Good luck to those of you who are selling houses. I went through that last year, and I lucked out big time that the right buyers came along right away. But it took a lot of cleaning, rearranging, and staging to get it to the point that I was even comfortable showing it. Good luck again!

AF cursed me..i am up 1 lb. ( ok af and cold stone from teh other night..but i am still on plan so i blame AF ;)
So frustrated nonetheless..people keep saying i look like i have lost weight..but that number is not moving at all. Hopefully something will give for next week though. But i would be lying if i said i wasn't starting to worry that there is actually something else going on with me physically. ..ugh. I wont' worry till I see the numbers next week though...

Well, for the first time in almost 2 months of barely losing 1/2 pound a week, I'm not dreading posting my results - I lost 1.2 pounds this week! Last week I recalculated my WW points, and realized that I am supposed to get 28 but I was only eating 24. So my problem all along might have been not eating enough. (I feel like I've been through this before...) Or maybe it is just luck or not eating as much sodium or something like that. Don’t know, don’t care. I’m just happy for a better looking number for once.

Anyway, this loss gives me a grand total of 51 pounds lost since January 2007 (hello new bling!), and an uber-grand total of 75 pounds lost since I started this crazy journey sometime in 2005. I am at my all time lowest weight of 165, which is 5.1 pounds from my Independence Day goal and only 10 pounds from my goal weight of 155!!! (Although, I try not to get too excited about that because I'll probably end up lowing that goal weight once I get there.)

Im a SAMER this week - totally expected, and im happy with it considering what Ive eaten! I start Slimming World on Monday, so Im expecting big numbers on Friday next week! (Hope I haven't jinxed myself!)

It was awesome! I watched 11 movies.The best was August Rush(very family friendly) and the new movie in the movie theaters,Made of Honor.

Anyone here on the Jillian Michaels online program? I signed up for the website and got the DVD set in the mail last week (and confess it is sitting here unopened) but havent quite got the hang of the site yet. I just am not finding it very user friendly. I thought it would be easier to replace meals for the week and create shopping lists at the same time so to speak. Am I missing something?
I am a member and love it.:goodvibes I don't use alot of her meals but I have found alot of recipes/snacks that are great suggestions.Visit her message boards-very motivational.I also listen to her radio programs,listening to a segment now.

Thanks for all of the prayers & pixie dust. I made it. :banana: I was such a nervous wreck yesterday. :scared: I broke down and cried after the final and then several of us went to the local mexican restaurant. I had a taco salad and a strawberry margarita before heading back to the college. :thumbsup2 15 nursing students passed, 6 dropped prior to the final and 4 didn't make it after the final exam. I felt so bad for those that took the final and then didn't make. Actually, I cried for & with them. We've gotten so close that it hurts when anyone falls out. :sad1:

Yes! I blame it with my 9 yr old and 4 yr old.

I am +.5 lbs

I am disapointed in myself but its actually better than I thought.I really enjoyed my weekend without the family and on Monday I showed a 5 lb gain.:scared1: Today was hard too.Alot of the parents at the daycare brought us goodies because of Child Care Appreciation Day.I am talking about brownies,pastries,donuts,cake,cookies,etc.

-1.4 lb Although today I did not do so well. I went to the diner for lunch with a friend and ate a cup of cream of broccolli soup and 1/2 of a triple decker roast beef sandwich and some fries, but I had a diet coke. Go figure.
 
I am -1.6 this week :cool1: I really wasnt sure what to expect, but I am back teaching dance twice a week now so I am sure that helped cancel out the few too many sweet teas I have been consuming. Darn Sonic and their happy hour special every day from 2-4. (1/2 price drinks and slushes, and they are literally at the top of my street)

I dont think I ever responded, but put me down for 15 pounds too please. I think I can do it, especailly with the added bonus of surgery thrown into the mix ;) I promise to remember to actually post my numbers weekly this time too.

Yeah, the more I look around there I think her recipes and ideas are good, but I wont be using the meal plans as they are. I think the message boards are good though, from what I can tell. Just need to get used to them. Seems every message board I am on uses a different format.
