Anyone here on the Jillian Michaels online program? I signed up for the website and got the DVD set in the mail last week (and confess it is sitting here unopened) but havent quite got the hang of the site yet. I just am not finding it very user friendly. I thought it would be easier to replace meals for the week and create shopping lists at the same time so to speak. Am I missing something?

Does anyone else become a complete wreck right before their Disney trip??????!!!!! :scared1: Last night I had a dream that when we got to our room at the beach club there was a snake in our living room!!!! I looked on my dream dictionary the meaning of a snake in a dream and it said BAD LUCK!!!! gee whiz I hope not!

I always have weird Disney dreams leading up to my vacations!!!!

I do not do the online program but I do her videos and have gotten some serious results...i love them!

WE listed our house last night! Yayyy!

It's FUN trying to keep a house clean enough to show with 4 kids and daycare kids too! I'm in for a stressful time, too.

Wendy...I didn't know you were planning on selling your house too! :woohoo: I can't imagine keeping it clean with all those kids! :scared1: It's hard enough with just two of us! I am really praying it sells before DS is home from college for the summer! His room will never stay clean!! It went on the market Monday night and we have our first showing tonight at 5. Needless to say I am trying to get everything neatened up! I'll pray your house sells quickly also!!!

So do any of you have a 14 year old daughter, wearing a brace while going to physical therapy for the next 8 weeks, who is currently home all week with an bacterial infection and PMS? :scared1: :upsidedow :scared: If not would anyone like to borrow a 14 year old daughter, wearing a brace while going to physical therapy for the next 8 weeks, who is currently home all week with an bacterial infection and PMS?

Just wonderin!

Ummmm......No. I have a DD14 who has PMS 24/7. My advice is just tip-toe around and don't say anything. Because whatever you say will be the WRONG thing. You're welcome. ;)

I had a long day today, which started with me waking up at 4:00 AM, so I could be at work at 5:00 AM. I did however make productive use of my time at work, and figured out how to fit Fantasmic into my Disney intinerary inbetween all of my meals. ;)

Except I needed more caffiene today, since I found myself fighting to stay awake around 1:00. But now that I'm home, and had a quick nap, I called Disney Dining to move around some ADRs, so I also had a productive evening so far.

Thanks for all of the prayers & pixie dust. I made it. I was such a nervous wreck yesterday. :scared: I broke down and cried after the final and then several of us went to the local mexican restaurant. I had a taco salad and a strawberry margarita before heading back to the college. :thumbsup2 15 nursing students passed, 6 dropped prior to the final and 4 didn't make it after the final exam. I felt so bad for those that took the final and then didn't make. Actually, I cried for & with them. We've gotten so close that it hurts when anyone falls out. :sad1:

So can I come back? :flower3:

Welcome Back! :wave2: We've missed you. I've personally missed your daily morning post.

The consensus seems to be that July 4 is a good milestone for our next challenge. So who's in? That's 9 weeks (including this week). I'm striving for 6.3 so I can be under 160. 12 would be outta sight, because that would put me below my goal weight. But I'll take just having a "15" at the start of my weight for probably the first time since I was a "tween". (Wendy, I've already got your marked down for 7 - unless you want to change it.)

I want to be in too. :wave2: Please put me down for 10 pounds! :thumbsup2 A fellow nursing student & I have challenged each other to lose 15 pounds by August 15th. :goodvibes

I have not been on here for quite a while, but just wanted to check in and say that I have reached my goal. i lost 50 pounds since last july. I am actually smaller now than when I got married 9 years ago. Just had to share!

Thanks! I may not post much but I do read your posts often. The support is AWESOME

Congratulations! :cool1: Visit anytime and post more often. The more Peeps the merrier.

I looked on my dream dictionary the meaning of a snake in a dream and it said BAD LUCK!!!! gee whiz I hope not!

About a week before our trip in December I had the stupidest dreams. In one dream the rides were junk and I was fighting someone trying to get my money back. :rotfl2: I think the reason for the dream was because I had the biggest fear that my family wouldn't like Disney World after shelling out nearly 5 grand. :rolleyes1

:rotfl: No thanks!

Dance~ Your son is getting so big. He is sooooo handsome and your daughter is a princess: . What part of Ohio did you visit? I live about 6 miles from the Ohio river.

Just popping in to say hello...I've been having a hard time food-wise. Worse than usual. Trying really hard to get myself out of it. Since finishing school, I love all the extra time on my hands but I think it is also really bad because I get bored so I eat! I'm working tomorrow then I don't think I have any work planned until the fall! :scared1: I've decided that I'm going to make a weekly schedule for myself of things to do so I can get of the house and do something. Or even staying in to do some hardcore cleaning (which my bedroom and closet desperately need). And throwing in some exercise too. Wish me luck peeps!

Myboys - congrats on passing your test! I know how relieved you must feel. I took my national exam in january and was so nervous about it!!! Not to mention my last supervisor threatening to fail me. Yikes! Anyway Congrats again! :woohoo:

I'm back from a week of the ddp and ready to re-commit! Looking at the pictures from the trip made me realize how much I've gained since last year.

We are originally from just outside of Cleveland. Most of our family is still there so we go back a few times a year to visit. We drive all the way through the state on our way though. Cinci thru Columbus up to Cleveland.

Hey there everyone....tiptoeing back in after being gone for close to a month. I didnt fall off the wagon, life just got in the way. In fact I am back down to 1 pound below my pre-pregnancy weight now so I am happy about that! I do need to make more of an effort to get over here every day though. I miss my peeps, and all the support keeps me on track.

DS is 11 weeks tomorrow...already.We have really been struggling with him, so any spare pixie dust you have would be appreciated. He has horrible reflux-so bad they sent him for an upper GI to be sure his anatomy was all ok, and it was. BUT, that also means there is no real fix for this. We have tried all sorts of things and they seem to work for a week or so and then we backslide. It is all so frustrating because DD was so easy and I hate to see him so uncomfortable.

In other news, my :jumping3: :jumping3: surgery is set for June 2nd...assuming I dont get any other pleasant surprises causing me to postpone another 9 months  I am anxious and excited at the same time. Will probably be the easiest 5+ pounds I have ever lost :rotfl: I get to ahve my first mamogram in preparation for the surgery too, cant wait.

Lastly- we drove back to OH for a good friends wedding a week or so ago. 2 days in the car each way, but we all managed to make it through. I actually almost enjoyed the trip in the car all things considered. Amanda was a flower girl, I did the flowers and Brandon was dressed to impress ;)

Hope everyone is having a good week...I am off to read back a few million pages to try to catch up.

They are both SO CUTE! Glad to see you posting here again. :)

I am getting so nervous I keep checking my flight, my reservation I wish it was just next wednesday and I am at the point where I am getting off the plane i then i can take a big deep breath and RELAAAXXXX!!!!!!

My mom started packing last night when I went there she had enough lotions and creams to do a magic trick! ;) I keep telling her Disney is not a dressy place tee shirts and shorts are the dress code!!!! what a rookie she is! :lmao:

anyway i am really excited oh and i made my goal of 38 inch hips!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome!!!!

I am just getting really anxious right now! I really wish it was a week from now. But who knows what will happen between now and next week. I'll let you know if I have any weird dreams though. So far, just one about pins after my friend and her husband came over to learn about pin trading. She had a dream about pins the same night, which was pretty funny, but that's about it.

Didn't know you were trying to sell the house. Good luck! :goodvibes And good luck keeping it clean.

That's so hard..Boredom eating. It takes so much effort and will power to not mindlessly snack.

Can't wait to read all about it!

Danielle....You are so right. I need to get all that stuff together so I'll have it when I need it. Question: why the olive oil based dressing? I so love Kraft Lite 3-cheese Ranch. ;) I love seeing you at trivia everyday BTW.
The olive oil has a definite laxative effect (sorry if that's TMI). So if that's not an issue, don't worry about it. I used to use light bleu cheese, and it was not helpful. I switched to a bleu cheese vinaigrette with soybean oil as the #1 ingredient, and it's much better. But when I really have a problem, I mix my own olive oil and vinegar w/ Italian seasoning. It always works.pooh:

Hi Everybody!!! :wave2:

Life here has been very busy! I have spent the last 4 days painting, cleaning, packing and getting my house ready to put on the market.
Good luck to you and UM.

DD just did a paper on the significance of snakes in dreams. Yes, they can signify bad luck, if you believe dreams predict something. But they also reflect your subconscious, and in this case snake=anxiety. And that's totally normal before any trip.

 My friend and I were just discussing why my sister with no kids looks so YOUNG. You just hit the nail on the head. Do you want to trade your drama for mine? DD had to find a last minute replacement date for the prom (DH found a friend's son) and DS drags out everything to the last possible minute, so he may not be heading for SF State in the fall because he didn't get everything in on time. Teens! :headache:

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE! :sunny:

I'm still hanging in on the diet. I expect the biggest number tomorrow since a lot of the bloat will be coming off this week. I made more Lex Cuisines yesterday. I've made these before and posted the recipe but here it is again.

1 box whole wheat penne (6 serv. size)
1 can cheap store brand spaghetti sauce (6 serv. size)
1 bag frozen *fiesta style* veggies (6 serv. size)
1 box frozen chopped spinach (3.5 serv.)
1 hand full of frozen peppers/onions (?)

Cook the pasta in one pan according to package directions. Warm the sauce and all veggies in another pan. (I also add some cayenne pepper to the sauce...I like hot food.) Combine. Separate into 6 plastic sandwich size containers. Calories per serving: 300 Fiber per serving: 14 gr. Vitamins: lots.

I had it for supper last night and it was goooood and filling. I put the others in the fridge so I can just grab one when I go to work tomorrow. Nice to know exactly how many calories and how much fiber I'm getting.

Gayle! You're selling your house? Moving to a smaller place? Moving away? I need details! How's that sweet, Theo?

Fran
....AWESOME! I knew you were gonna do fine but what an emotional roller coaster! Are you off for the summer?

Danielle....Good news! I can keep eating the ranch. (See fiber count in the recipe above.)

Lynda....Are you going to Disney next week? Or Disneyland?

LMO...Throw that dream dictionary away, sweetie! You'll be fine!

Shannon! Start a project! I eat when I'm bored too. Just stay busy!

Winkers....I started your pre-trip. Can't wait to hear about it all. Hope you didn't have to be doped up this time!

Tara, Laura, Disneyfav, et al
.......:wave2:

HAVE A GREAT DAY, EVERYONE~

Sold my horse last night...the amount of stress that came falling off my shoulders was incredible! A 10 yo. girl bought him and I think it's the perfect match. He will be loved and spoiled! I took their offer of $800 LESS then I was asking only b/c they are going to be taking lessons from my trainer so she will be able to update me on how he's doing. Plus, it's a great home. Now I can order our Dec. flights and AP's!!! :thumbsup2

Have a great day everyone!

Sorry I have a two year daughter who is going through you know that terrible two stage.

That is great news. Its so good you will be able to still be in teh know of how the horse is doing :)

Hi everyone ! So i "Spent" most of my weekly flex points last night! I only have 6 left until Monday...but i will be earning activity points too so i think i will survive the weekend on that ;) I was talking to this amazing woman at curves that has lost 97 lbs in the last 13 months on WW! She looks great..and she works out 5 days a week ( 3 of them curves days) and she uses ALL her activity and flex points too! That made me quite elated...now that i am more active i am DEFINITELY more hungry on a daily basis and not feeling guilty about eating my alloted flex/activity points is a very good thing for my brain ;)
OH what i used my points on..a burrito from Qdoba and COLD STONE CREAMERY ice cream! OMG..so worth it though! :rolleyes1

I'm going to WDW today.

My weight for today is 182.8. The lowest EVER! (since I was about 12)

So I'm starting a pool on how much I'll gain over the next week and 3 days.
Hee.
