Thanks for the prayers and support. I know I am leaving out all details, but the kids are all fine, and I will be. The last few weeks I have been dealing with something that has taken all my energy. Sorry I disappeared - and right when all the fun Big Give Gifts started arriving.
I have pictures I tried to download today, but I discovered my camera was broken!

Turns out Deyki dropped it accidentally and didn't tell me. I was able to mess with it and get it working again, but it won't download any pictures. Does anyone know how to get pictures off the memory card onto a laptop?

I am guessing I could take it somwhere and have the pictures transferred to a disk. I plan to try that idea Monday when I have a babysitter. So, look for pictures later this week.
I can't believe we leave two weeks from tomorrow!!

I am so eager to go and really hoping it helps me get some distance from the trauma I have been dealing with the last few weeks. If nothing else, it will be a great break!

To add to the magic, I just found out my church has a team of people who want to do projects around the house while we are gone. This house is over 100 years old and has lots of things needing repair. They asked me to put together a list and they will work on it while we are gone!

Today they had a team here sorting the bags and bags of clothing that had been donated to the program I volunteer with. My basement has never looked as nice and been as organized as it is right now.
The children are all doing well. They are so excited about the Big Give gifts that have arrived! they just can't figure out why people they have never met are caring about them like this. Thank you!!!
Deyki and Chantae both celebrated birthdays in October. We had a Pirate and Princess birthday party last Saturday. Deyki is so proud to tell everyone he is 6 now. His favorite part of the party was the pirate's pretzel rod "sword fight." The pirate with the longest pretzel rod won. My little three year old neice, whose mother is aptly named Cindy, arrived she sweetly said , "Find me something to wear. I'm dressed all in rags and need a lovely gown for the ball."
We have a new toddler in the house for the next month or two. Peanut lived with us for a couple months when he was a newborn. Now he is 15 months old and still as cute as ever. I hadn't heard from his mom in a year, so it was a surprise to get him back for awhile. Michelle continues to make progress with listening and speaking. Nidra is just excited about getting to Disney and meeting Stitch!
I will work on getting pictures posted. I hope to post a bit more as we get so close to our trip. I cherish your prayers as I try to get past some hard things. Thank you, thank you for all the fun Big Give packages!
14 days to go!
