Just got our travel documents - waiting for room assignment.

We were going to drive but we just booked our flight. We are staying at the Radisson the night before we sail-yipeeee!

You'll spot me at the Radisson...I'll be the one in the Disney jean jacket, carrying my Disney Cruiseline bag, and bouncing off the walls.

Poor DH...not sure if I'm worse before I get on the ship, or when he has to carry me off/

Well, we got a bit of good news yesterday. We saw the allergist, and it appears that some of the earlier results we got on Jacob were false positives. SO, he is allergic to tree nuts only -- walnuts, pecans, cashews and the like -- and not to all the other stuff (wheat, peanuts, etc.).

Still waiting for my room number. I booked a Verandah guarantee on October 31. Currently, there are only 5C and better showing available on the Disney Cruise website. Do you think this means that I will be getting at least a 5C?

Here is a post I put together awhile ago for some others. Hope it helps. FYI too both FE lists are closed for this cruise. But always good to be prepared if you are going to cruise again with DCL.

I think we are all waiting on that info. I know some still haven't gotten their room assignments yet either.

Also, I don't have your screen name listed on any of my FE info......I am just hoping I am not missing someone. Help?

With about 2 weeks left before we leave and seeing some have yet to get their room assignments ( I have read though that some do not get a room # unitl they get to port ) how should we coordinate the info to all the FE participants??? And even if someone was looking to possibly also upgarde at port??

Just had that thought and thought to get a concensus.................

Are you on the original FE list as one without a DIS name? I'd like to put your DIS name on the list
with your cabin number if that is the case so we keep things straight.

Yes, howdydoodyswife has not posted a cabin assignment, and I'm sure there are others out there who don't know yet.

When we cruised before, participants who didn't have their assignment, or upgraded at the port, notified the "list keeper". The "list keeper" posted DIS name and cabin number on their door, and we all checked there.

Another option is for the ones receiving their assignment at the last minute to leave the information for participants when they deliver the gifts. It helps if they deliver early in the trip to allow ample time for the rest of us to get our gifts to them.

They could leave a phone message for each cabin with DIS name and cabin number.

More ideas?

Hi all! We finally got our room assignements. We are in 7164 and 7166. Can someone point me to where the final FE list is? I haven't been keeping up too much with the posts but I think I got our names on the FE list way back when we booked. I'm excited to finally be getting down to the business of packing

That is very helpful. Here's my vote......If anyone changes or gets a late room assignment they should leave a message with the "list keeper" and the keeper can post on their door. I think I read about having post-its with the info on it so people can take it or just posted on a dry erase board. I am okay with leaving a message too with the changes, but your list is longer so not sure if you are wanting to do that.

Hi all...not sure if we will be on this cruise or not. We just got off the Dream for Halloween (4 night), and might be joining you. Still awaiting confirmation from someone on something...I know cryptic, but can't elaborate.

As far as the FE, I know it's closed, but we have done on many cruises before, as well as the one recently with 51 cabins! We had 1 person volunteer to post the master list on their door. Any GTY or upgrades at the port (which we were lucky to be gifted an upgrade), placed their changes on the list. If we are onboard, we will have our FE out, door decorated, and I will play FE for our DD-age 7.

Have a great cruise! The Dream is beautiful! Be sure to ride the Aquaduck during the day and at night too!

FE sounds good to me.

One thing I am not clear on is how it will work with concierge. That's where we are booked. Things might have to be chucked over the gate.

I know my response is delayed, and it might be answered on a future post already, but just lurking on the meet as we might be joining. We cruised on the Dream for Halloween. For our FE folks in concierge, I tried a few times to deliver, hoping to catch the gates open. I finally just took it to Guest Services, and they happily helped out.

DId we figure out who is going to be the list keeper? I think if no one wants to do this we could just have the last minute assignment cabins bring some post its and stick them with the FE that they drop off for us letting us know where they ended up. I have mine ready to go and now we just have to get past this 2 week mark!
