Actually, we just booked an unplanned/unexpected trip for December over the weekend so I don't think I will have to twist very hard to make this work. (DW really is a sucker for free dining).

I always get fooled into watching the first preseason game every year, just because I'm desperate for football. Then I turn it on and always wonder, "Why am I watching this garbage?"

Very true... but taking 2 out of 3 this weekend from the team breathing down their necks was a good step in that direction.

Now if your nemesis just wouldn't have cursed them yesterday, maybe they could have taken all 3.

It probably doesn't. But that's OK. I'm using Webster's definition #2 "extending beyond the usual or ordinary especially in size or scope". Not the long poem one, although I guess I could write a poem about what we're toying with doing.

The APs that we are getting at the end of this month will still be valid at the beginning of August next year, so that would be a very good assumption.
