Well, I am finally actually uploading our pictures. Of course, that could take a little while as it is currently on picture 40 of 1331 on card #1 then there's card #2 which has maybe 500 pics on it?!? We have MOPS this morning, but then no plans until 4:00 but to bathe the dog. So hopefully, knock on wood, I'll get a chance to get on here and do some posting with them.

I can't stop looking. I have to watch to see if the flight DS and I are on comes up with miles so I can move DH to the same flight. Moving from one flight to another on a miles ticket is free, so if we can switch him it is totally worth it. Besides that, if it drops more than $50 per ticket I am going to cancel and rebook so I will get a partial refund.

Oh, ok then, keep looking.

That's OK, Elizabeth. I am really getting my head around the resort change now. I just haven't jumped and made the change yet. I discovered that the difference in price will be even more than I originally thought since I was pricing the moderates from the 21st to the 27th and then remembered I already have the 21st booked for Bob and me at POFQ. And it is paid for. The difference is now very close to $3000.

So, my decision is getting easier and easier to make. And I am really leaning toward the entire time at POFQ. I loved our Christmas trip there a few years ago. We all like POR, but only the Alligator Bayou section, since the mansions look like where we live. There is no guarantee we would get AB, so we dont want to chance that. CBR and CS are just so big if you get placed far from the center of the resort and we don't want to be using our car a lot. I know that there are internal buses, but I would rather have things close with a small number of people fighting to use the buses.

Our funds are down not, $5000...not $10,000....but $65,000. We had plans for that money....so talk about disgusted....for us this is a crisis of epic proportions....there is no way we could leave it to try to recoup...so now you just try & protect what's left....

Dh won't tell me exactly what our losses are, but they aren't of that proportion.

Kristine - Yay for good results for Bill! How much longer will it be before you have the rest of the results?

DH got his biopsy results today. All normal! He is officially in remission! He goes in next month to see the Dr. and talk about reducing or eliminating his medication.

Yay for good test results for both Bill and Elizabeth's dh!

We don't know anyone that is in that situation (yet), but I am feeling very scared just the same. I am worried about my parents who I know have money in the stock market. I am worried for my friend whose dh in in retail. I worry about dh's job and our own stock losses. It's just a scary time, because I don't see an end in the near future.

Was it you, Beth, who said DH worked for IBM?

Did anyone else see the financial report on the Today show this morning? When Trish Regan made the announcement that IBM had posted a profit the entire set in New York stood up and applauded!

I realize that you all are getting ads ad naseum, imagine what it's like for me...we are in a state that is poised to leap from the party it has always voted for (Republican). In other words we are one of the states that is a "battleground" state....so both parties, political action committees and all of the candidates have decided to spend 10's of millions of money for advertising and smearing in our state. We also have the largest ballot we have ever voted on....so we've got all of the "regular" voting issues (offices,local through country) but also about 50 referendums.

I keep yelling at the tv...JUST TELL ME THE TRUTH! and not a single one of them does!

We haven't been getting many ads. You can already count NY down as a win for the Democratic party.

I just typed up the exhange lists for our 4 recipients. I need to take that with me. Maybe tonight I can look up all the addresses that we need for the hotels, port, rental car places and get those programmed into Jill our GPS.

I also managed to clean Hunter's room from top to bottom. I'm not sure where all those dust kitties or shall I call them lions came from. No wonder why Riley never goes into his room

That would be great. I am very interested in what you find out.

I did look at the LWV site. That did outline a few issues, but only a select few I am glad to read that I am not the only one here with many questions and not so many answers.

Dh and I were discussing this the other day. He made some comment that voters should have to pass a test before they could vote, and I told him that I would fail it this year for sure.

So I called member services to see if anything had become available at WDW for our pre cruise weekend. It turns out that I was able to get OKW for the night of the 18th. I kept Vero for the night of the 19th. This will break up the drive some and I'll get to hit DD for Christmas shopping. I also need to exchange our pepper mill since the one we have cracked There is no MNSSHP on the 18th so we will still not be doing a park, but I can at least to a bit of shopping. The kids like the pool at OKW too. I like the idea of giving Vero a try as maybe we will want to stay there for longer on a future visit. My concern is that October may not be the best month temp wise to hit the beach there. It will be fun to explore though

Yes, dh is one of the few left in the "birthplace" of IBM. I didn't see the Today show this morning, but a profit is a good thing!

I got an e-mail today that says the Homecoming parade doesn't start until 5:15 PM next Friday. School gets out at 1:00. WHY would I leave DS at school for 4 hours? The band director told them if they go home they will just be turning right around to come back. We live 5 minutes from the school. A four hour gap is worth DS coming home. I am sure they will have to be back by 4 PM or whatever, but it's still a big enough gap that it is worth picking him up. DH will be working and Princess will need a nap, so I will get DS at 1 PM and bring him back later.
