CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 7/15-7/21

I did not find a coupon for the refills. Did I have to do something different to get that one. I got the $7 for the cleaner.

Mine just printed both on the same sheet of paper, I don't know how it happened, I didn't do anything special. When you buy the the cleaner, it also has a $5 coupon inside for another cleaner and a $1.50 for 2 refills so I went back and got another cleaner, 2 refills and 2 boxes of Kleenex (total $30, minus $4/20, the two coupons for a total of $5.31 with tax and another $15 ECB - used my daughter's card).

Mine only had one coupon too...

I wonder if it gives the coupons by zip code somehow... What zip are you in LJ?

Hi all you CVSaholics! I've been meaning to post this: yet another way to save even more!

I signed up for Shopping Essentials+ on Sunshine Rewards and joined for the 7-day trial. They offer $25 CVS Gift Cards that you pay $25 and get rebated $5 on the next month. So your net cost is only $20 for $25.

I've been using these GCs to pay my out of pocket costs. When you add in that you're saving an extra 20% on the *little* bit of real money you're spending, it is almost laughable!

If anyone wants the list of other stores on Shopping Essentials I post them.

:goodvibes

I'm in 55125 - that must be it. I'm glad you got the $7, the other is only $2, but you know lol, $2 is $2 when you're playing this game. If you go do it, I'd open up the cleaner box and take out that $1.50 coupon that's inside.

edit:

The coupon is in the back of the cleaning unit, it's easy to pull out - you can even see it through the box in a cut-out, so might not have to actually open the box.

Ok, I've finally found the connection between all my CVS purchases:

I bought 6 boxes of 100 ct teabags (so I could get the $5 rebate for buying $15 from Lipton).

Well, when I get finished drinking ALL that tea..... my teeth will be so stained that I will NEED all the tubes of toothpaste I've stockpiled!!!
:rotfl2:

LOL I bought tons of tea and a box of Crest Whitestrips! I didn't even make the connection until now!! :rotfl:

BTW, if you spent $25 on tea, you'd get $10 back. I bought 5 boxes @ $5 each and I'm doing the rebate.

New question for all of you that have multiple cards (dh's, dd's, etc.);
When you go to use the ECB's that you earned, do you have to be using
the SAME card they were earned on? I'm trying to convince my dh to go sign up for a second card for me :)

Hey there, Sally!! Yes, we should form a group really. We could run the "New England chapter" :rotfl2: I think that my hubby is just feeling defeated at this point. He just doesn't say anything anymore. :lmao: He knows I am getting great deals. I still want one of those Mickey Waffle makers that someone posted on clearance, but I haven't caved on that one. I am still debating...that would make a great Xmas gift for DH!!

Count me in on that New England Chapter too!! :cheer2: I don't post to much but I read everything and have my own stockpiles of tea, toothpaste, Glade airfreshner, I am now even trying to work out a Lamisilk deal, I don't even know what Lamisilk is!! :lmao:

Now I gotta go find that thread I didn't read about appliances at Lowes.... I love toast! ;)

I just have 2 cards - one is my daughter's (she's 15) and she uses it too, but yes you have to use the card that earned the ECBs to use them, and you also have to use the same card for the coupons that print on the bottom of the receipt. I keep them separate in little zippered coin purses and I put the list and coupons with them. This week for example, I did the $15 wyb $20 on each and the $15 wyb $30 on each. Often I will give the ECBs on my daughters card to her so that she can buy her skincare, makeup, etc.

You wouldn't need him to sign up for another card, just grab one when you're there. I think it would probably still work even if you didn't fill out the form with it.
_______

I forgot to mention this on an earlier post - $5 off fragrance is showing on the bottom of the receipt when I bought the Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner. If you look at the clearance sections, a lot of men's frangrance is 75% off in the section with the 2007 graduation things, so you can get it near free - some were Axe gift sets and it works for those and there was some other kind of cologne, I can't remember the name, but it was originally $30 and it's on clearance for around $5.

Thanks for the help. I plan to buy 1 cleaner today and another one on second trip with DH's card. I will open the cleaner today for the $1.50 coupon. Every coupon helps in this game I am told.

My trip yesterday:

Right Gard - $2.50 - .75 coupon = $1.75
Soft and Dry - $2.50 - .75 coupon and .55 coupon on bottle = $1.20
Excedrin Back and Body - $4.49 - $2.00 coupon = $2.49
Excedrin Back and Body - $4.49 - $2.00 coupon = $2.49
Excedrin Back and Body - $4.49
Excedrin Extra Strength - $4.49 - $1.00 coupon = $3.49
Excedrin Migraine - $4.49 - $1.00 coupon = $3.49

Total before coupons/Ecb's = $27.45

Used $4.00 off $2.00 and 15 ECB's

TOTAL OOP = .40

and I got back 17 ECB's for next week

Yep, they have to be used on the card they were earned on.

Like LanaJae, I just keep them separate and keep track of what i have so I know which card to use.

Just back from CVS (and Lowes  )

Lamasilk Hydrate 9.99
Lamasilk Exf.Scrub 6.49
Excedrin EX 4.49
2 Hallmark Cards 2.29ea

-4/20
-2 x2 Lamasilk
I had received an email for BOGO Hallmark Greeting Card attached to a 5/30 Q
So I gave them that paper folded so only the greeting card offer showed. The girl who was training a new cashier opened it up and applied the 5/30 and the BOGO card.... I didn't even spend 30.00
9.99 ECB
.27cents OOP

Of course I didn't have .27!! I had to run to my car like a fool :headache: for .27 cents.

Then no ECB printed out..... so I was given a giftcard for $15 bucks !

So I ran off giggling.... :lmao:

A giftcard is so much better than an ECB - no expiration!

What'd ya get at Lowes :flower3: I might need to GO BACK and get the blender too! :sad2:

I got both the toaster and the blender in RED!! It is really killing me not to buy the stand mixer - but I already have one. The guy was soo great about it too - Excellent service!!! :yay: I should write a nice note to Lowes!

OMG I am so excited. I did it!!! :cool1: :cool1: I went to my nearest CVS this afternoon and they were out of the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Cleaners. That really got me down but the next one I went to had everything I wanted.:lmao:

After taxes and before sales my total was $86.40.
sale and clip free coupons were -$30.38

coupons for:
2 Pepsi free -5.50
10 off 50 -10.00
Cottonelle .25 - .25
refill Scrubbing Bubbles -1.50
Scrubbing Bubbles Cleaner -7.00

ECB's -13.00

$25.00 gift card for transfer -25.00

For a grand total OOP $1.62

And $13.00 ECB's earned.

Even my DH was impressed.

Thanks to all of you for your help. I am addicted and am working on my trip to CVS tomorrow. lol

Quick question for all of you, i havent done my shoppin gyet not for lack of wanting but because both of the stores i like ( i have decided to just shop my two favorites..lol) dont have the Shower cleaner in stock. Theres not even a place on the shelf for it, has anybody seen it in theirs??? I am beginning to believe it will not come in for this week altho its featured in the back page. ugh!!! i am trying for the 10/50 deal so i can do both ecb deals with very little oop.

Just checked that out and yes it will give the $2 coupon. I have already been shopping but when I got to the store and opened the box I took out the $1.50 coupon. This should help someone else.

I just got an email from them with that link in it - was called "Clean Home Journal."
