CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 7/15-7/21

Ok, I am really trying to figure this out. A CVS just opened down the street from me.... I will admit, I am totally confused on where to start, LOLOLOL. It's all greek to me at this point...

I went today and they were out of the viva paper towels and I couldn't even FIND the empty spot for the kotex with wings (coupon was specific). I didn't have back up kotex coupons. Since I don't need pads (and I'm the only one in the household that uses them) I decided it wasn't a very good deal to get tampons or liners w/o coupons so I got extra tp instead. So I wound up buying 4 pks of Tp instead of the intended 2...now thanks to me they're out of tp. To top it all off I got so flustered about leaving a $1 off Q at home, I didn't even think to hand the lady the 0.25 Q I had accidentally brought extra of. I was so mad at myself.

Why do I beat myself up over a quarter?

I have SO had it with my local CVS!

I've called customer service twice about this already...about how I consistently go there with my ECB game plans only to often leave empty-handed or VERY disappointed.

What stinks is the CVS I frequent is the only real good one around here. There are two downtown, but they are very small and stock even less on a regular basis. The one out at the mall is a joke too (except that's where I found my Burt's Bees, so I love them anyway!). I told DH last night...my $0.16 OOP trip from last week may have been my swan song. I think I might be getting off the ECB train not because I want to...but because my CVS store sucks so much that I have to.

Does Bellefonte have one? Might be better than those in town.

It wouldn't load on Firefox for me but did with internet explorer

I am having trouble on IE - my office scan says there is a virus attached to the file I am trying to download, but it would let me print it from Firefox... go figure...

I had the same problem and fixed it. It said it couldn't copy one file so what I did was press "browse" on the warning box and then drag that file to c:windows/temp and then change the path to that and I was able to print. I hate that coupon thing by veri-FI! I can see how it prevents people from getting more than one, but what a hassle!

I need an energizer coupon and I've never downloaded one but it says I've used my allotment.

This may be a very dumb question, but can I get the ExtraCare Card in the store or do I have to order it online and then wait for it to come in the mail???

Thank you so much. I use Firefox also. When I tired it on IE it worked fine. I just could not stand the thought of not getting that extra 12 pack.

You can get one in the store! There are applications laying all over the store, and when you fill it out and bring it to the register with your purchases, they take the app and give you your card right then and there.

Got my huggies today. Went in for son's Rx and came out w/cheap diapers. I like that the ECB prints right then and there. I went and put my diapers in the car and back in for 2 more packs.

$7.00 MFG Coupon on Shower Cleaner
$4.99 BOGO on Purex

Total OOP = 32.24 plus tax

Received $20.00 ECB's.

They were out of the peanut butter I could have really used that too. I will check back tomorrow and see if I can get lucky.

Any tips on what I can do better??? Can you use more than one coupon like the 10/50 = 5/30 4/20 on one transaction? How many ECB's can you use in one transaction???

$20!!! As near as I can estimate, this would have been $185 without sales and coupons!

My first trip this week I spent $33 and got
9 pack energizer AA batteries
9 pack energizer AAA batteries
Lamisil overnight foot cream
Lamisil foot wash
1 bottle scrubbing bubbles
1 12 pack Cottonelle
1 jar Maalox max
4 bottles Glade air freshener
20 digital prints

This was not as good of a deal, but it was still good and it set me up with EBCs for the second trip.

Next week doesn't look as good though.

Hello there and welcome to CVS Anonymous!! LOL Some stores will allow you to stack the $10/$50, $4/$20 coupons. I would say try it and see what happens!! The worse that can happen is that they say no.

I had the same experience using the lamasilk scrub, lotion plus excedrin with the $3 coupon-the shift supervisor fixed it for me, but I'm still contacting corporate, though.

Pssst.....I need to join!!!! I just went to Lowes and got in on the appliance deal. I got the 4 slice Kitchen Aid toaster for $52.50 after tax. A flipping $130.00 toaster for $52.50. I will be toasting in the garage now so DH doesn't catch on that we have a new toaster Then I went to Target next door and got my discounted bread, mustard, apple juice, and oscar myers products

$7 coupon for the Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner at $18 (for the get $15 wyb $30) and $2 off two refils at $4 each (for the get $15 wyb $30)

I did not find a coupon for the refills. Did I have to do something different to get that one. I got the $7 for the cleaner.

My CVS lets me use all of those Q's on one transaction, plus as many ECB's as I want. So far, no problems. Try it and see what they say!

Hey there, Sally!! Yes, we should form a group really. We could run the "New England chapter" I think that my hubby is just feeling defeated at this point. He just doesn't say anything anymore. He knows I am getting great deals. I still want one of those Mickey Waffle makers that someone posted on clearance, but I haven't caved on that one. I am still debating...that would make a great Xmas gift for DH!!
