Sorry I missed your PTR... have to get better with my DIS time.

First, so happy that you decided to take the trip… you both need some Disney and definitely the R&R time together. That really stinks about the severance, however, I think you both are wise to accept it and move forward. Keeping fingers crossed that Mark finds works soon.

Love AKL and after just staying a few days in the Epcot area (at YC), we really enjoyed it and the proximity to the two parks. And BW (and that water slide) looks so inviting! Will be waiting to read your review of the backstage tour. Sounds cool … and a nice surprise for Mark. You two are a perfect match… giving each other unexpected gifts for no reason, just another way to show your love for each other.

Nine Dragons… Sam and I ate at Nine Dragons for lunch and really enjoyed it. Hope you and Mark have the same experience.

And I hang around with a bunch of changers and changing is quite fun (and can be addicting)...Especially for DISmeets and frozen fun.

Love Flame tree… but what I don’t do for my Sam… I actually bypassed FTB for Yak & Yeti so same can get a vegie meal. Btw, we loved our food! Would definitely return.

Taking pix last Tuesday on the safari (lord it seems so much further away than that!!) we got to see several giraffes and I always think of you.

Have to read up on the in-between stuff, but wanted to say hi and look forward to the TR.

I like the "this" and "this" and "this" and "this" plans. Go ahead, right now and start repeating this over and over and over in your head "I will not cry when we say goodbye to Nicki and Todd! I will not cry when we say goodbye to Nicki and Todd!" Probably won't work but it's worth a shot. Nobody needs to get on an airplane looking all red nosed and puffy eyed.

A one month extension is great!! I wish they offered something like that! We would have gone the end of October instead of the beginning!

Hi Kathy! I finally made it back here to read. Your trip sounds wonderful although a little sad since you won't be back for a while. My December trip is going to be the same way as I don't think I'll be back for several years after that one.

Now I need to head over and get caught up on your current TR. I read this one first as I'm trying to get caught up on all the PTRs for folks that are going this month!

It will be nice to get away from everything for awhile. Mark's job search will have to wait a bit which I will explain later.

I agree with you about the walk, but that slide does NOT look inviting at all. I know Mark will love the tour...he is such an animal fanatic.

I like those plans too. And Lisa, I try that EVERY trip. I start in the morning of the last day we are seeing them and it still hasn't worked.

However, it is early with the weather and they are often inaccurate. So we will just keep watching and praying.

Lol! Nooooo sleeping at the airport! Did score a surprise upgrade so that's a nice bonus and I love that they've added outlets on the plane.

Love even more my boss didn't get upgraded so is not next to me. 3 days will be enough, I don't need both plane rides I do like him but...he's a bit like Evan and wears me out!
