Could this be our last trip to the World for awhile...Final Plans 9/11

Hi Kathy!

Your last day in Disney sounds wonderful! I really love what you do in honor of your Dad.

We will be up early and shower, get the car packed up and then drive here for breakfast

Don't faint Andy!!! Yes, we will never go back for dinner, but we absolutely loved breakfast and can't wait to go back.

I've never even had breakfast there. Must be good if it keeps you coming back to that place.

We will fill in with other attractions where we can, and then we will head to our ADR for lunch which, as those of you who have been with me for awhile know, will be here

Yeah, you're kind of predictable.

After lunch, I will do our last tradition from the past six years...I will find a child to give a balloon to in memory of my dad. Then it will be farewell to Disney as we start our drive here

This is predictable too, but I love this part.

It sounds like a fantastic last day!!! At least you can look forward to seeing nikki!!! Yay!!!

I love these late summer/fall trips because I know at the end, even though sad to be leaving Disney, I have my visit with my little sis to look forward to.

Now I'm going back to harass you on Facebook..

You should go and pack is what you should do.

If you gotta leave Disney, then leave it with a bang....Whispering Canyon breakfast, Plaza lunch, use a few FP+ and honor your father. Yep, a good way to end a trip.

Thanks; this will be our 6th year now that we go to Marco after our Disney stay. It makes it easier leaving Disney, but it makes it harder leaving Florida.

We got our first set, waiting on the second. So, when are you telling the kids?

We aren't sure…. we might tell them when we head to the airport. Our flight is at 10:20a so we have to leave the house at 7:30a. No waking up in the middle of the night this time. Maybe we'll just have the car packed and pop them all into the car and start driving.

It is our last day at Disney as it is now Friday, September 26.

I was trying to be a good DIS friend...at least until after you meet me so you let me ride things with your kids. And, by the way, Mark said he is NOT going to be happy if he doesn't get to do POTC with Christopher so they can have a sword fight after.

We love the Plaza (just hope we don't have the issues of waiting and waiting for a table when there are at least ten open). You've never had ice cream there? You must work on that!

We will be going to the Everglades and doing an Airboat Tour this year. We will probably drive and go to the casino on a rainy day (I'm sure we'll have at least one). We may go to the Naples Zoo again too.

We will also do a lot of this:







And, as always, I am sure there will be tears when we leave. But this time it won't be at Starbucks or the Cheesecake Factory on our last night. This time we are leaving in the afternoon on Sunday, October 5, so we will have breakfast with Todd and Nicki on the island before we drive to Ft. Myers Airport.

We've made one change recently and that is that I placed a Garden Grocer order for oru arrival at AKL/Kidani. This saves us the time of stopping at the store so we can get to Kidani, check in, unpack and then head over to the Studios to extend our AP's and walk around a bit before meeting up with Cynthia and Jeff for the Frozen Fireworks.

I'm sure I'll be back with more changes, etc., but that's basically a wrap on this PTR.

Wonderful plans, as always, Kathy....maybe a little bittersweet knowing it could be awhile before your next WDW visit.....but with all the changes and lack of the old fashioned Disney Guest Service and all around ...well, I am disappointed in WDW of late. I think Walt needs to shower some PD all around.

I loved the movie Frozen but all the Hub-ub of everything now surrounding it doesn't make me happy but then I don't have little girls obsessed with it either.

I am jealous of your AKL stay! It looks so calm there and to be able to see all those animals is just awesome!

I'm sorry you feel that way, Christine. Yes there have been a lot of changes, but for the most part I've seen most of the old fashioned Disney Guest Service (we've had a bad one here and there but that happens anywhere and I always let them know when I am not happy).

No, Paula, not renewing. Disney is giving us a free one month extension due to some issues.

We really enjoy Plaza; service can be a little off but lunch and the ice cream make up for it. Thank you...you are very sweet to say that.

I am missing my little sis a lot right now; and knowing we won't be doing a business trip in March or April, I want to make the most of this visit as it will be another year until we see her again.
