Im sure one day I will have the spare points to justify staying. But I cant commit myself to it possibly being my only option (home resort) since it's so point heavy. Again I would stay home before I stayed OKW/SSR so those are non options for me even if available.

I am going to stay at SSR next year, im gunna stay in Congress park with a DS view and im gunna like it damnit

I think we’ll see boulder/copper creek value… but the issue is going to be view categories. Standard probably hits that benchmark but quickly resort view and firework view rooms will exceed it.

I hope it doesn’t contain the ridiculous view premiums that Poly does (which escalates views by 35/70% points respectively) and does more traditional 20/40% premiums. VDH only really escalates around 10% for its “view”.

I can't imagine it will mirror the CCV/BRV chart, especially when it will most likely sleep more in each room category and be billed as a super ultra premium nature inspired resort.

I also believe there will be a theme park/fireworks view category. If there is a fireworks viewing terrace, there will be rooms with similar views.

If we look at WL rack rate, "fireworks view" is about 35% more cash. I imagine we'll see something similar with the resort view and highest view category here.

They're going to do the most for the A frames and I guess this new premium room, but I wont pay extra for a ft wilderness or lazy river view Im pretty sure I wont be staying at the A frames. I like my trips long and A frame would kill that.

There will literally be views of the back of Pioneer Hall. Resort view will be diverse!

I will post a "Going to SSR and OKW for the First Time Thread" as I feel like i should bang them out back to back Its going to be rough, but im up for the challenge

SSR congress park is #1 on my "Bus only" hotel list. I never needed a car, and they have more busses so I never waited but it was August not peak season by far.

Being able to walk to the Springs makes it #2 on my Sister and BIL's list if they don't have their GC. To be honest, the rooms are themed so similar its just that they are smaller than RIV. Having so many restaurants to choose from is pretty nice and some of the best on property are in the Springs.

It is also a great " flight getting in super late so why waste points" first night room. If they keep the free water park then you can get up and go to the water park while waiting for your room and let them transfer the luggage.
