Colorado DISers ... where are you ?

We went to the Cheyenne Mountain zoo for the first time a couple of years ago and we loved it!! I am thinking of getting a membership there either this summer or next so that we can go more than once...have I mentioned before we love going to Colorado Springs??

The membership is well worth the cost. We always got to The Electric Safari in December and use it for that too along with a couple of trips in the summer.

No snow in the Springs yet but sure looks like it is coming.

Has anyone seen the new ride that is going in at Elitch's called Ghost Blasters? I think it is like Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin or Astro Blasters, except with ghosts instead of Toy Story characters. I found this website, which sounds like it is the same ride.

Also, Billy Ray Cyrus is playing Elitch's this summer. How do you think he feels playing Elitch's while his daughter is selling out huge venues in a matter of minutes?

17th & California...I just started seeing light flurries about half-an-hour ago and the streets are now wet (I assume that isn't mag chloride). Maybe there are too many tall buildings around to see it properly. That happens sometimes.

Snow on and off here in Louisville since about 3:00. My brother in Arizona couldn't believe it could be almost 80 yesterday and snowing today. All of us Colorado folks know that is what spring is like

I checked out the window looking toward the courthouse and you can definitely tell from there that it is coming down pretty good. Probably coming from that direction and is blocked by the building I am in, so I can't see it as well over on my side.

Had a couple of inches in my grass but the streets were just wet. As I drove North to work it got pretty bad. Looks like the sun is trying to peek out now.

Hope this is the last storm for the season! I am ready for rain.

It was snowing pretty good on my way home from work yesterday. The kids choir was singing at the Columbine area music festival. When we left last night DS said it looked like Christmas Eve outside. The trees were really pretty.

I was fine with the either the 26th or 27th this month as long as it was at least 2pm before we met. If we want to switch until May that might work too depending on which day. I am thinking either the first weekend or the third would work the best.
