I found my ds(9) an OCC 20" Schwinn bike at a yard sale for $75 in new condition, like the one here http://www.genesbmx.com/schwinn/sting-ray-info.html . I'm on the hunt for dd (11) a ride-on scooter in pink for a similar price new or used.

I've also got both kids each a free flip video camcorder with a coupon in the mail from Staples for ordering $75 online. DD also wants a Color Nook or Kindle but my mama is covering that.

I need to take some good pics of the kids. Those are usually the grandparents fave gifts.

I am usually done with Christmas shopping by now for my 5 kids but this year I haven't even started. I've been unemployed for 2 years and just found a teaching job that started 2 weeks ago. That's when we finally booked our first trip so now I'm ready to shop!

I plan on killing 2 birds with 1 stone this Christmas. I'm thinking of buying clothes for the vacation (Disney themed shirts, etc), small luggage sets for the kids, some gift cards for them to buy their own souveniers at Disney... maybe a Flip camera for one of my 9 year olds...

What else??? Help me out friends because I need to get started and finished!!! lol

32" for us too at the same price. I was thinking I would have to get up and go out on BF early. But now I can go if I want too. Usually we are at a resort town near the mts. or beach. I go out and buy for just DH, DS, or me for what we might like not what I have to pick up. I enjoy the BF deals but not for what I have to buy for Christmas.

I went to a website to check because there is a DS game that only comes in 3D and read no. If I am wrong someone tell me. He really wants the game. My son does not like watching things in 3D so we did the XL.

Yes it can play regular DS games. You can't use the 3D features with regular games, but the console will play them.

Congratulations on your job!!!!!!! Walmart has recently had great deals on disney t's and disney pj's for kids. Maybe that helps? How about ordering the FREE disney vacation planning DVD and show it to your kids (or is this trip a surprise?) Can they share presents? a disney movie? some disney books? i think dollar store had some disney puzzles. a disposable camera for the older kids?

We started about a month ago when American girl had online sales for a few things I was going to get. Since then dh and I have been t the Boston store alone without the girls so we bought a few more items and put them away. Both dd are so into AG that it is so much easier to get a few things here and there rather than all at once makes the price seem like less. Lol

To the poster that asked, the 3ds does play regular ds games.

I've only bought 1 thing, a liv accesory pack for a dollar from the target sale. I also got a free frame and mug that I may give my stepmom along with a pic of the kids. For the others I made a list/ budget. I'll probably buy a couple things in Sept to put away but do the bulk of the shopping in December. Last year I got a cart full during the Target sale and then bought a ton of the cheap deals on amazon courtesy of swagbucks. I overbought. It was cheap but it was too much. This year I made a list of the stuff they've wanted for awhile and I'm mainly sticking to that.

I scored at Walmart today. We usually give a family gifts to the neighbors becuase it is easier and more budget friendly. We picked up 3 snow cone machines for $12 each. We also picked up a few bottles of flavored syrup to go along with the machines.

I've been doing some shopping for my Christmas gifts.
I was able to get an HP touchpad and I ordered a couple Le Creuset pieces from Macy's, so they will be my gifts from dh, maybe.
Unfortunately I'm expecting the Le Creuset order to be cancelled since I stacked coupon codes and now Macy's is cancelling orders because of that. I really hate that they let you do it during checkout and then turn around and cancel your order. They should have just set it up to deny any other coupon codes if you use the Shop For A Cause savings pass.

Both my kids are wanting the Nintendo 3D for their big gift this year. I know the price just came down a lot. Does anyone know if there are or will be some good bundle deals or new colors coming out between now and Christmas? DS said something about themed ones maybe. I'm trying to decide whether to go ahead and buy now or wait a little longer. TIA
