We are booked for CBR FD for Nov1st-9th. My family was SO excited when I made the reservation that we were all dancing around the kitchen. I needed to post a very big thank-you to mickeystoontown and Dansdad! This is our second trip (1st in '08 at ASMo) and 'lurking' through their posts about CBR really helped me decide on what resort we wanted to book. The kids LOVE the look of the pool. I can't wait to join the CBR fan club!

I'm glad that the info that I have posted helped you make your decision on where to book. We love love love the CBR and can hardly wait to get back there on the 24th of this month.

I agree. It was posts from mickeystoontown and dansdAd that helped me make my decision as well. After lots of reading, I thought CBR would be a good fit for our family. I had read some negative reviews on other travel sites and gotten a little disappointed. Then I saw their recommendations and pictures and I think it will be perfect for our family. We have two kids 4 and 6 that will love the splash area. And since they're still small the full beds will be fine for us. One adult and one kid per bed. Although I must admit, I have fingers crossed that perhaps we'll end up in a refurbished room for our September trip.

I do hope that you enjoy your stay at the CBR. I love walking around the resort and just taking it all in. It's such a relaxing place to get away from it all. Keeping my fingers crossed that you'll have a refurbed room when you arrive.

Hi, staying at CBR fir the first time in November and wondering -- do the rooms have central heat/air or do they have window a/c units? If window units, are they effective or loud? Thanks!

It's a wall unit under the window. Not loud and can get very cold.

I've just got off the phone from WDW Reservations and we are all booked for our second visit to CBR - October 2015!

It will be two years on from our last trip. We loved staying at CBR last year - and what's even better is that this time when we arrive - me and my DF will be husband and wife!

This trip will be to celebrate our honeymoon but there was no way I could leave the boys at home, so we are all going! :cheer2:

It's great to be back on the forum and hope everyone is well x

when do they release there films by camp fire if they still do them?

Yes they still have them every night weather permitting. They change every month and are released on the 1st or 2nd if the month.

Yup, and they're now controlled by a thermostat on the wall instead of the controls on the unit itself. I think it worked just fine when we were there in April. :)

thanks, do you know if they sell snacks?

The movies are set up right next to the pool and about 30 yards outside of the food court and gift shop. It's also right next to the pool bar which has some bagged snacks.

Also I forgot to mention the movies start after the campfire ends and they are not in the same spot, though they are very close. The campfire is on the beach and the movie is next to the pool.

sorry for all the questions but by the main pool?

How often to busses come to CBR? Do they stop at other resorts? I was initially driving but I'm considering flying. Please bare with me as this is probably the first of many questions. Its our first time staying on property and I'm clueless:confused3

First of all, WELCOME! :welcome:

Disney advertises that buses show up about every 20 minutes. That is the same for every resort. Same goes for the buses from the parks back to the resorts. CBR does not share buses with any other resorts.

This thread is here to answer such questions, so feel free to fire away. I know this thread is long, but take some time and at least read through the first page. Very useful info there.

Hi I am hoping someone can help and a I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered before. We will be staying December 12-20-2014 we will be traveling with my parents and a our 3 children .My parents have mobility issues so they will have their scoters and my daughter is in a wheel chair she can walk very limited with assistance with her dad or myself. On our 2012 trip we encountered some very rude people because she wanted to walk on and off the bus with help from me and dad would foldup her chair. So I am worried about the internal buses and getting all 3 of them to the main bus transportation to the parks. We don't want to cause trouble for other but we also want to enjoy the trip as a family .We are hoping someone knows a standard room / building that we could request .
We just returned from CBR. I think the issue you may run into is the number of scooters/wheelchairs a bus can take. If I'm not mistaken, there is only room for two on the bus. It would mean splitting up to fit two scooters and a wheelchair at which point, which bus stop you are at will not make a difference. I know there was a sign posted about the possible need to split up handicap groups. I read it but can remember exactly what it said. Also, one or both of the spots may already be taken. We used the shuttle everyday, several times a day for six days, and on at least 50% of our rides someone was using the handicap spot.

Question: Does the internal bus run throughout the night? We might need a 4am pick up to catch DME at Custom House...
While we saw people taking luggage on the internal shuttle, the internal shuttle does not run all night. I just returned from a cheer competition and they arranged independent busses to shuttle event attendees from HS to resorts at 2am. The driver stated that the internal bus would be running to take each of us to our country. We got to CH - and no bus. There was one lone CM at the desk. He did manage to find someone to take each of us to our country using a bell services van.
