Can anyone tell me about La Cava Del Tequila?

The jalapeno margarita is awful. I love jalapeno peppers but could not drink this. I forced myself to drink half and had acid reflux for the rest of the day. The avocado, blood orange and coffee are my favorites.

You don't really need to "like" them to get discounts. You just mention "Margarita Mondays" when you're in the bar and margaritas are $10 instead of $12.50. Sometimes they give that price on Mondays without even mentioning it.

I happen to disagree with the previous post about the jalapeño margarita, by the way. We like them a lot and make them at home.

Worth going inside....YES! After tasting the one's at the tequila bar the one's outside at the kiosk are like a slurpee.

They no longer have anything I would call "tapas." The food offerings are basic snacks - chips, salsa, guacamole and queso dip. Fair warning that during the Food & Wine festival you won't be able to get any food other than chips and salsa.

Yes, non-alcoholic drinks are available, but it isn't the best setup for kids. It's a small place and there isn't anything to entertain them.

NOTE: The bar only has 30-seats and always crowded. For folks with
kids, no strollers are allowed due to the room size. They have 87 brands
of tequila, with many at $7-$20 per shot. Most marguaritas are $12-$14
each. That is pretty stiff, even for Disney, let alone "the good stuff" at
$60+/shot. There are tequila "flights" for $10-$24 for three 1/2-ounce
samples. Have a very limited munchy assortment. Can take-out the drinks.
