Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique/Disney Costume Dresses PIX

Hey Christine! I thought you were going to add some pictures? I'll post the one of Belle later today you were talking about but I can tell you now...it does NOT compare to the one Disney Online sold with the rich bright red velvet! That one was the prettiest dress ever. Did you buy your DD the matching doll for the red Belle? I did. I can't wait to give it to her! :lovestruc

Sorry, all my picts are at home on our computer (I'm at work right now)...I'll try and find a few to post in the next few days.

Nope, didn't get the doll. When I picked up the dress it was just before Christmas (like a few days) and most of the other dresses and accessories were long gone by then. I really lucked out w/ this one. They had dd's size, the dress was discounted AND 20% off... AND I had a 15% off coupon!

I'll have to pull out the dress again...but I think this is the velvet one, I could be wrong though. I have the dress in the TDS bag in my closet still. Dd doesn't even know about it. I was thinking about bringing it to WDW in July for her to wear to Akershus for our lunch. Decisions, decisions!

ETA...I just went back and saw your dd in the Belle dress...that is the same I have in my closet! :) Dd is getting a My Disney Girl doll when we go down for her birthday. I'm getting her the one in the Mickey Mouse shirt, but she'll get to pick out one or two outfits for it before we leave! :princess:

The matching doll outfits are so adorable! The red velvet dress in our pics on here came from Disney Store online. It was their deluxe two years ago. They did sell it again this year (cheaper) but only online. It is a bright Santa red too. The one from Disney Retail Store this past Christmas is a little darker. Still gorgeous! But different. I'll put a pic on in a bit. I have to go make some lunch for the kids. Can't wait to see your pics! Have a fun day! :wizard:

Great pics - thanks for sharing! :goodvibes DD6 hasn't done the BBB (yet) and we won't have time on our next visit - we're only in WDW for 1.5 days before our cruise.

We have however, built up a fair collection of princess dresses over the years - but not quite as extensive as OneTreeHillAddict's! :worship:

When DD was 3 y.o., we went to CRT in MK for breakfast - she had a Disney Store UK Cinderella dress on. Cinderella herself was so impressed by the quality, she asked where I'd bought it!

FYI - if anyone is going to the MP&PP soon, but can't get an appointment for BBB, there used to be a selection of crowns (BBB style ones with diamante) in WoD over in DTD. :thumbsup2 Out of everything available, DD picked the Pirate one! pirate:

OMG I so love the dulx white cindy dress.... anyone know if it is available at the castle BBB - I know that would be our pick.... My daughter wants a "wedding" dress and that is just beautiful... Can you call and request a certain dress ahead of time?????

Last time I was at DS outlet they still had the dolls. I might stop by this weekend. If they have it I can pick you one up in you want! :thumbsup2
Ya know, I never got the shoes. I just realized that. The gold sequin ones should worj fine though. As long as the dress is you wont see them anyway. Aren't you excited to give it to her!!!??? princess:

I am not going to even waste my time arguing with the "these little girls look like tarts" people.

My girls LOVE dressing up and the BBB. They actually wake up and put on dresses first thing in the morning!

Here are some of ours . . .

The first trip we did Yellow Belle at the BBB. It was a potty training bribe. Worked like a charm!!!

The second time my DD wanted to be Christmas Belle. Can you tell who her favorite Princess is? I made this one because my three year old told me the dress WDW sells was not accurate! LOL

DD wore her Sleeping Beauty to 1900 Park Fare.

The third time we did the BBB DD wanted to be pink Cinderella. This one was my favorite.

We also bought Cinderella and new Belle dresses for both girls. Last year's Belle really took a beating. It was worn over 300 time. NO LIE! It was super windy on our Cinderella day.

My girls also wanted to be the stepsisters.

Last year DD went to the Wonderland Tea and I made her Alice. This year we had a schedule conflict so we ended up buying Alice. Basically Daddy saved the day.

Another great site for dresses is www.mydressupshop.com Here is my DD from last Sept. Her dress came from that site - they are lightweight and not itchy at all :thumbsup2 Oh, and her shoes were purchased at Wal-mart for $8.00 - same glass slippers you get at disney, just with a different broach. She wore them at BBB, for pictures and for lunch at CRT - otherwise she wore her sandals. ;)

Your pictures are gorgeous!!! And the Belle you made is beautiful!!! Great job!!! I bet our princesses would get along very well! Thanks for sharing! Looks like you've been to both BBB's. Which did you like best? MK or DTD? We haven't tried the MK yet.

Sooo pretty! I LOVE the one with Cinderella! Looks like she had a great time! princess:

Someone asked a question a few pages back about sizes. When I made the appointments, I specifically requested adult/larger sizes for my daughter. She has just turned seven, but the largest sizes do not comfortably fit her (or look good on). The CM informed me they would have a selection available in adult small sizes that we can choose from. Just an FYI....
Only 30 more days until our trip!!!! :cool1:

I notice more and more moms doing BBB with their little girls and with parties going on year round it would make sense to carry the dresses in womens sizes too. They'd probably sell quite a few of them! Your little girl is going to LOVE BBB!!! You guys have a fun, safe, pixie dust filled trip! :wizard:

OMG thanks so much for telling me that! My daughter is 10, but she is very very tall for her age. When we go in a couple of weeks, I will get more info on the adult sizes for her. That's fabulous to know! :thumbsup2

Enjoy your trip! :goodvibes

I am really glad you started this thread. I know that the first time we went to WDW we never thought we could have gone back. LOL Who knew we would have been hooked!!!

I love love love love the MK BBB. How can you get any more special than having a Princess makeover in Cinderella's castle. It was fantastic!
