Sorry it took me so long to reply but I have been out most of the day.
I am meeting a friend of mine, Carol Marie, in Mobile on the 21st and we will continue on to the World hopefully arriving around 10 pm. We decided to drive
this time due to time constraints with departing with ME and due to the fact that we've have had problems previously with getting all of our new Disney stuff back home. In fact, last time CM had to buy an extra bag and pay $50 to have it flown back home.
So this time we will have no worries and won't have to bother witha rental to hit the outlet malls.
Just last night, we got a great rate through Hotwire on the Best Western Lake Buena Vista on Hotel Plaza Blvd for our first night. We've used Hotwire several times for arrival/departure days and always been pleased with them.
So we will wake up early Sat the 22nd and check into POFQ for three days of free dining. We have a river view room reserved. Originally we booked the whole week there but then the low rates for WL came out and we decided to split the week up. We learned last year that three days of free dining is plenty.
After check in we will head to Epcot with adrs for lunch at Coral Reef. I'm sure we will take a few trips on Soarin and get to see Nemo for the first time. This night we will go to the Disney outlet stores so that we can knock a few things off our souveneir list.
Sunday is AK day and adrs for dinner at Raglan Road. This is the place we are most excited about. This is also pm EMH at MK so will probably go there after dinner.
Monday is Hollywood Studios and adrs for lunch at Mama Melroses. Since RNRC(my favorite Disney attraction) is closed
this will probably be a short visit since we don't seem to have a lot of other interest here. I used to love MGM but for some reason it pales in comparison to the other parks now.
Tuesday we will check out of POFQ and check in to the great Northwest. Then we head to MK. The rest of the week dining is oop so we dont plan to many more Table service meals. We may see if we can have a late lunch at LTT. I'll kick some butt on Buzz and relax a few go rounds on TTA. (Wouldn't it be great if they had drink service on there?)
Cm is a bit of a chicken so I end up riding a few rides alone and she has some great shopping time.
The rest of the week is not planned(I know its blashemy
but thats how we roll) Whatever park we go to we will be there for opening and we would like to eat at 50's, use our vouchers at PH and there are a couple CS places we have in mind. We are not over planners but always get to do everything we intend to do. Thats the real joy of going in off season.
We are not doing any after hours parties. We just really aren't interested I guess. Our days are always very full. We don't take many mid day breaks and usually end up at downtown disney most free nights. So by the time we get back to the room its time for bed.
I am so psyched to get the trip started
