Lorcana Event at DLR

Does anybody know for sure if the Lorcana event/Beast library is still happening at DCA and, if so, what hour we need to show up at to be able to participate?

One of the accounts I follow on Instagram posted a video of them going to a Lorcana event this past Tuesday. It was in her "stories" so the clip is gone now.

Okay, this is what I found out...

The Lorcana activities end on Sunday at the latest. There is a chance (if they run out) that they will end earlier.

You enter Animation Academy. The person at the entrance today said to arrive 20-30 min before an event She did say to go early on Sunday because they might run out before the end of the day.



Inside there is a queue. A CM at the beginning of the queue is counting the number of people in line. Once she gets to 50, the line is cut off. Some people are there at park opening and just keep circling back into line for each event all day! These pictures were taken at 11:35 on a quiet Friday. While we were there asking questions and taking pictures, no one entered the queue.

The first picture shows the sign and the beginning of the queue. The CM counting people is standing just behind the sign. The second pictures has what she said was 40-45 people in line



You are given a booster pack and a quest booklet. You need to trade cards to complete your booklet, then take it upstairs to Off the Page to receive a holographic card of Belle. In Off the Page, they will give you a second quest booklet to complete in order to receive the holographic card of the Beast.



Just outside of Off the Page (between OTP and Disney Jr) are card trading tables. There are a few people there but not many. I think most people trade down in Beast's Library.

OMG, thank you SO SO SO SO SO SO SO much. My son has a soccer game ending after noon, so I don't think we can get there in time for the Saturday events, but if we hit traffic just right and the queues aren't too bad, we just might?

We are at VGC and my husband and son are morning people, so I think they will be rope dropping the 9AM on Sunday, while I have coffee and maybe a waffle.

OK, reporting back that we had a very successful Lorcana experience today, thanks in large part to @LKing (thank you so much!!)— My son and husband got to DCA shortly after park open and went straight to the spot outlined above. They were able to go through twice and get two Belle cards and two Beast cards by 10:20AM. My husband said they tried trading but nobody had the necessary cards to trade— However, they found someone who had the whole collection who loaned it to them for purposes of completing the quest. We had hoped to try to circle back one more time together, but we lost an hour waiting for luggage pick up at our hotel room, and never made it back over to the Hollywood Boulevard area… So I’m not certain if or when they ran out of cards.
