On page 1, at the bottom, there are updates (in color) there with subject, page, and post #s. It's still a pre-trip. We leave in 19 days.

Thanks Trentmom. Its amazing what you can get read when you have a day off. It seems the closer it gets to D-day the more I am on the Dis reading TR's. And I really do have other things to do. But you know how it is when it gets so close.

So, while waiting for an update........How bout you tell us about your trip?

What adrs do you have? Are you doing water parks??

Are you doing a MNSSHP?? Are you dressing up??

Monsters...That is a good theme for pictures...We have not done them yet...Keep it not too scary, though....as it has to be Dis Friendly

There is actually a place in Georgia where they have a pumpkin patch with a spinning demo and the last time we went the woman was actually using her dog's hair to make socks for her hubby!!!!!!!!!!!

That stinks that you don't get to quilt often. My Mom has a ton of stuff that she's started and not finished. I think out of the 6 or 7 quilt tops she's got she has only actually quilted 2 we do a "box party" with other ladies throughout the country where you pick your pattern, then pick out your colors for the quilt, put everything in a box along with samples or the actual fabric you want used, with the pattern and a book for everyone to write something in and sign...send it to the first person, they decide what block they want to make for you, piece it together, sign your book and then pass it along to the next person. I'm doing it for the first time this upcoming year. Then we also do this thing called "mystery block exchange" where each lady picks out colors they want in their blocks and also a "background" color, no samples necessary but they are helpful. Then, we distribute the list to every lady involved, who in turns picks out one block to make for each lady (the same for each) with their colors of choice. Then we exchange the blocks @ our get together in August every year. I eneded up having to make 14 different blocks this year and they were all so pretty! I'll have to post some pictures of a few. Anyways, At the end of the year you end up with two tops for quilts!! wow, that took a while to explain. Anyways, if you ever felt like you might want to find another group to join since the other group you were in was very cliquey you're more than welcome to join in on ours. We're small so far but I asure you, we have no cliques!

I used to crosstich many many moons ago (before the kids). I loved it!

Tried crosstitch, have issues with all the keeping count stuff!

Okay, I just went back and started actually reading your report. Nothing like starting at the back and working my way forward!

I love the prank you pulled on the kids! Love it!

But....okay, I knew the kids were fairly close in age but 9, 10 and 11!

Poor Disneymom! That's like 1 kid out - 1 kid back in! Give the poor woman a break!

It was a long stretch, but I'm glad we didn't drag it out--after 9 years between the first 2, we got it all over with in short order. They all could play with the same toys at the same time, etc. and they are very good at playing together!
