We saw Belle and a very short Gaston. It took the CM's begging about five little boys in the audience before they finally got one to play the part.
As we were lined up for Brooklynn to have her picture made with Belle, it started sprinkling. We did get our turn, but I think we were one of the very last ones before they whisked her away, as the rain got heavier very quickly.
We took shelter for a few minutes to let the rain die down, and it didn't take long.
We drink a LOT of water. Bottles and bottles and bottles a day.
Of course we did a little shopping. We are girls. We shop.
I indulged in one of my pleasures - taking pictures of weird things. Here's your sign!
We got a little ice cream to cool us off.
Brooklynn played at Winnie the Pooh's playground. She loved going in and out of things.
I had wanted to ride Astro Orbiter back in the summer, but we had a little mishap that prevented me from doing so. I had been watching Brooklynn while the others went on I believe Space Mountain. When we left, after a little bit, I discovered I had left the camera somewhere. Everyone went in search of it, and we figured it had to have been left on the bench where I had been sitting. When we got back, that bench was full of people. We asked them about a camera, and sure enough, it was still there. My group was a tiny bit aggravated at me, not bad, but it was late, and I felt bad asking them if they could stay just a little longer so I could ride Astro Orbiter, so I kept my mouth shut.
I wanted to ride Astro Orbiter this time, but not alone, so maybe I'll do it in the spring, when we have more adults. It's not that I have any huge thing about going around in circles, but I want to get some good pictures from up high, if I can.
Some pictures of Jill and Brooklynn just enjoying being back at Disney World. It felt so, so good being there on that beautiful fall day.
We saw that Buzz Lightyear had a five minute wait, so we hopped on.
It was Mommy versus Brooklynn while MeMom tried to get pictures.
Mommy won big time.
We were fortunate enough to witness the flag lowering ceremony in the afternoon, and it was amazing. It was so moving. Just powerfully moving. That veteran stood so proud, and there were people all around singing the patriotic songs loudly and proudly. If you've never seen this, make a point to do so. It is a great experience.
We saw real Stitch, but doll Stitch had stayed back at the stroller while we walked a bit, so he missed out on seeing him.
It's almost time to get ready for Mickey's Not So Scary (and pretty awesome) Halloween Party!
