Not ROFR thread - general discussion

So those of you that have contracts at multiple resorts do you keep the same use year? We are thinking one contract around 150 it's at our preferred home resort PVB for a longer stay each year then another 100-150 at SSR or AKL to use anywhere for weekend trips or precruise single night stays. But since we really won't be using the points together would it matter if I had two use years.

Sorry for all the questions lately, just trying to make the best purchases.
I have one use year. I would love 2 use years, but I don't like any type of hassle at all when I make plans. Needing to transfer points or keep track of what's happening in which account is not fun for me. Some people love challenges and projects. Some people like spending tons of time trying to get a reservation. For me, I just want to book when I want to book and not spend a lot of time moving things around.

I am all October , but that is limiting when shopping for resale.
Since I am done buying points 🤞 :-)it no longer matters

The fixed week is already a bit confusing - going to have to remember to cancel it each year that I want a 2br. I guess I have to call MS by some date to do that?

You can also book something on your own with points on that specific contract and MS won't book your Favorite Week.

I would only do that if you absolutely 100% know you will be opting out.

I have just one. I'm so glad I listened to the people who said that was the way to go. I think if you travel all through the year, multiple use years could work. But we target January - June, so one use year is just fine, and easier to deal with. Each new use year is a new membership.
