Aloha Kakkahiaka - Good Morning All.....
It is time for me to start thinking about packing, without dragging along a herd of elephants as we are not boarding and unboarding at the port. We have to fly
I love to dress up and want to take the opportunity to be pretty so the formal gown will be backed (assuming I can zip it up...it has not seen daylight since 2005-2006.)
DH likes to dress up so he will take the tux - that is the present plan, along with different shirts and ties for semi-formal night.
Me, I may take all long dresses as I have some Hawaiian and Asian themed dresses I love with little chance to wear. They can pass as formal or semi-formal. I mean, you only see the top of me at the table - right?
I want to drag along our pirate outfits. They are easy to pack....DH says we are in the wrong ocean. What is everyone else doing? I see some of you have dropped that night......still not sure. ??? Must leave room for the every increasing hoard of souvenirs.
We live in tropical or Hawaiian shirts so casual nights will be easy. If we could merely unload contents of closet into suitcase and set up a booth on the pool deck, we could make a mint.
Or perhaps unload contents of Disney shirts into suitcase and have the same result.
Someone mentioned Cinquo de Mayo --- which would be fun. We had a Mexican night on the PC cruise, but then I realized we would be on Maui that night....So I guess it will be Kona and not Corona.....
Back to packing, since I love the Hawaiian cruise fabric (and my skirt) I am looking to pair it with a variety of different tops.....Red. blue, yellow. purple, black, white.....it all works.....One skirt 14 days - why not????
I think this is why steamer trunks were invented. For those of us who cannot make up their minds.....
Have a great day all.
