Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

"IT" actually stands for Information Technology. (Although you're right - in most cases here it would refer to support for anything computer/website/technical related.)

My Disney travel is Sept 29 - Oct 4; and we're staying at Port Orleans Riverside. We have the ability to use magicbands and fastpass+ with no problem so far :goodvibes

so sorry. . .

I find it hard to believe Disney will let people "trick" the system. I'm thinking your right. You will be able to use FPP one day only. Just my thinking.

I'm thinking 2 days... Check in day and check out day of participating resort.

So if all features expire at midnight when you check out when do they begin? I know the MB is supposed to be you MDE ticket too so some of it is active. But what if you are driving and want to hit the park before resort? Would your tickets and FP+ be active before check in? And if I am remembering correctly (i've read so much info) the MB will be available for off site guests too so same question.

Just saw someone asked similar question on new thread and answered "really don't know"
I miss the simple days:(

I asked this question, too! On all 3 calls. I was told that they are activated upon check in DURING THIS TESTING PHASE. Things will be different after the testing is over, but right now the testing phase is resort specific. Your FP+ is tied in to the resort that is being tested. I am sure when testing is over, things will be a lot more flexible. But for those guests who have booked one night at say Pop for example just to get FP+ for the length of their stay at another resort that is not testing are probably going to be ticked off when their FP+ are invalid.

Who knows what the real answer is. I was told basically the exact opposite twice yesterday. I had a couple of questions about my split stay. Both times IT said my FP's will carry over, at least during this testing phase.

Visiting October 5-12 and I have already made my fastpass + selections and customized my magic bands. My daughter's first trip, can't wait!!!!

Where are your split stays at? Are both resorts testing? I guess we all won't know "for sure" until we actually get to Disney, huh?

2 nights at AKL and the rest of our vacation is at BWI. Only AKL is testing.

cant wait to hear how it all works out! Surely there are those testing in Sept. that can let us know.

I had reservations through Disney for October at YC but found a better rate via Travelocity for the same resort during the same dates. After I cancelled my Disney res's, it took a few days but was able to link my Travelocity rooms and park hopper tickets on MDE. Once that was finally done, I waited a few days and was able to make FP+ ressies and personalize magic bands...pretty seamless so far, even with reservations/tickets bought outside of Disney.

This may be a stupid question, but how did you link your Travelocity reservation?

Same here. I was very hesitant to book with Travelocity, but the $2200 savings made my decision easier. So far, I have had all the same benefits I would have had with Disney except for the option of the dining plan, which we weren't booking anyway. We're at YC as well and I can't wait till our Magic Bands ship.

Is anyone able to see nighttime spectacular FP+ choices yet? I was hoping I could book Fantasmic on Sunday 10/13 but it's not an option as of right now for me.

So what happens to those of us staying in a Disney resort that isn't part of the testing? Will there be fast passes? I'm trying not to be bitter, but it kind of stinks for those of us that don't have a shot. I can hear my husband and kids asking why we don't have those bands. Lol. I know. I know. Life isn't fair, etc... But we are spending a ton on this vacation, yet feel like I'm missing out.

You will have FPs under the old system just like usual. :goodvibes

I don't mind having or not having the Bands, but there are opportunities with the bands ( Wishes, rides, etc) that regular Fastpass users are not privy to, right? That doesn't feel "magical". ;)
