A controversial 60 Minutes segment, about a top security prison in El Salvador, was pulled at the last minute from broadcast but a few stations in Canada managed to air it. Using copyright privilege CBS ordered that the segment, including Facebook copies, be removed from public access.
Disney did the same thing, use its copyright privilege, to try to keep its film Song Of The South out of public access and viewing.
Splash Mountain has since received a total facelift. Not because parts of Song Of The South were contained within and now considered more racially sensitive than before but rather because Disney wanted to redo the ride with characters more familiar to more of today's guests.
