AKV Condo Meeting Discussion

I’ve only stayed at AKV once, at Jambo. There were subtle nods to Simba. Is that true of Kidani and if so is it still the case?

Ive actually never stayed at Kidani! Im always at Jambo cuz we like to be nearby the action but im seeing the need for the extra bathroom even with two people and we actually liked the walk from the two. Idk why I always think these resorts are farther than they are

Does anyone kno when jambo is set to be completed? If not next year then we will be staying at kidani for our next wdw adventure!

As I recall, Jambo is actually scheduled to take almost as long as Kidani - even with far fewer rooms. Probably because they can only do small sections at a time and have to work around the much larger cash portion of the resort. The Jambo refurb will not be completed by September, but you may have a shot at getting a refurbished room by then.

This pics are making me very happy! No longer dark on dark. It looks refined and cohesive. Hope we can snag one for the back end of our trip in Feb!

Well that's my preference anyway. The rooms are bigger. (Well the studios are pretty much the same but the villas are bigger at Kidani)

Agree with this. We prefer Kidani. Always laid back. We enjoy Jambo, but it can get crowded at times.

Welp just finish eating dinner at Boma and about to explode, best resort food ever imo at my beautiful home resort. I fall in love with it more every time

I never thought id want to stay at the same hotel year after year and yet here I am for the second time

Im glad someone posted it, i actually went to kidani to try to see it and take pics for you guys and the housekeeping manager screamed at us like a psycho when we were just walking down the hall, so my detective days are over
